These people confused Mal. He was hired into IRIS because of his own abilities to do an odd job or two here or there and he was told these people would be somewhat like him but so far they just seemed strange to him. He watched as Kyle messed with the object he delivered, mostly because he was curious of what it does.

Kyle starts tracing the engraving.

As Kyle traces the engraving he suddenly disappears, the stone falling to the ground with a soft thud.


Kyle finds himself kneeling on the ground, starting at a roughly woven yellow carpet. As he looks up he finds himself in a small, stone room, with narrow, stained glass, windows in the walls to let in light. A stone altar sits at the front of the room, its top covered in golden cloth with a silver bowl and cup sitting on it. Two hooded figures are kneeling in front of the altar, obviously praying.

Somehow Kyle realizes that his bracelet doesn't seem to be working.

"I vote 5 bucks that the stone gets pregnant."

"I'll take that bet. Let's put a time limit...say, a month?"

"Pick up the rock and find out."

ICARUS picks up the rock and retraces the symbols like Kyle did.

"Oh god, did he burn himself out psychically like a du- wait he's not Lucas nevermind. Seriously though, wat, IRIS."

Lucas just feels a bit offended by that accusation.

Kyle blinks and decides to kneel with those guy and pray.

The adrenaline from the jump had worn off and Mallory was back to his normal, tired, apathetic self. Kyle picked up the stone and began tracing the markings and he soon disappeared, "Uh.... That... Hm, I wasn't expecting that."

"Hey, we had practically won. There was really no reason for you to get trapped inside our own mind. "

Marie, you do realize that's probably not the same Lucas, right?

Sen catches the toy dragon and pretends to attempt to eat it. She giggles as she does this.

Yomiko just tilts her head. "Nah, you'll just be my little sister~" Yomiko smiles while keeping her head titled.

"that wouldn't make sense. My father is your great great great... ((much later)) great great great grandfather. So I can't be your sister."
