Sen begins to listen to the voice mails:

[29] First bookstore said they didn't need any new workers,

[49] Third said maybe later,
[38] Fourth said check back later,
[19] Fifth said no,
[1] Sen got banned from the sixth,
[42] Last bookstore said they didn't need any workers.

Sen sighs and gives Kyle his phone back.

"Maybe you could try for the library?"

Conny looks at Sen for a moment.

"Hey Sen? Were you looking for a job? Because I know of a library near the coffee shop I work at that could use an extra hand. Plenty of knowledge to copy."

Sen perks up at what Conny says.

"Where is it? I'll go right now~" Sen happily cheers up and slips out of Kyle's arms.

"Where is it? I'll go right now~" Sen happily cheers up and slips out of Kyle's arms.

Conny smiles and gives her directions.

(55+20(reference) Sen would be given the job with full time hours on Monday through Thursday, having the weekends off.

Upon further inspection....

"Hmm...no electricity...no running water or sanitation...the windows are empty, and there are no fireplaces or heating for winter...the entire eastern wall is missing...is this part of a shanty town?"

"No. It's a toy for children."

"You never know, Ester; maybe she's got dietary needs that are different from normal-sized people? I dunno."

"Like food that can fit down her throat?"

"I'd like to have a walled perimeter of about one square meter, walls 40 cm or higher, with a main fortified tower in the north east corner, bordering the keep. The dungeon should go at least 1 meter underground, and provide 2 seperate retreat routes. If possible the main tower should host a trebuchet, the smaller one can go with ballistae. I'd also like several square meters of pastures, to raise mice as lifestock. If possible, have it built close to running water, but if there is none, still water will do. No need to worry about servants yet, once needed, I will employ some by my own pay."

"How do you know metric if you didn't know there were people taller than a few inches?"

"She doesn't know about humans that are taller than a foot. Or, presumably, that the world is round."

"Stuff comes up. It's just that none of the current stuff is nearby or, as they as, in our pay grade."

"Come on, give the butterfly a try. I'll poach it in a bit of butter (nudge nudge, get it, nudge nudge), and it'll be much better than some lame candy. Because they soak up sugar from the flowers all day, they taste super sweet."

"They also digest the sugar until it becomes normal bug. And she appreciates the aesthetic value of butterflies over the potential taste of such a small morsel."

"Lilly has the better H-scenes anyway. The Hanako route is only depressing."

"Okay, this is...I can't even criticize your claimed lack of knowledge about humans our size for that comment. It would be like kicking a baby."
