(20!) Selina looks at Demons Run, her face showing just pure confusion. Was she really going to do this!?

"I... I ac... accept you... f-f-for who you were... a-a-and who you a-a-are now..." Selina runs over and hugs her tight, her lips an inch from hers. She visibly stopped there, not moving a bit. If Demons Run wanted this, she would finish it... even if Selina was trembling through the whole thing.

Then the world seems to glitch, images from her memories from that other timeline swarming around them.

how she'd hurt Maria.

How they'd both been hurt, crying, possibly even breaking up because of her.

"NO!" She pushes her back roughly, vanishing in a miniature sun of blinding radiance.

"EEP!" Selina falls to the ground in surprise. She was really stunned. What had she done wrong? She was close to tears now.

Selina then thought on what she had seen. Her and Maria crying? And Maria mad, and crying near her... had that been one of those alternate timelines that DR had talked about before? H-had she hurt Maria? Had she tried to help Demons Run, and hurt Maria in the process? Selina sat there in shock, trying to process this without breaking down... it wasn't working very well.

Her lips move, still speaking Japanese, but Selina just hears her native English.
