And a burst of blood explodes out of her hand, coating the place where the painting rests with a large binding circle which traps any noncorporeal (including temporarily incorporial) beings inside it until broken, and prevents them from manipulating things outside of the circle.

Lucas just directs a sense of anger and hatred towards the man. Although it doesn't really matter right now. But the message given off is basically: "I will burn you alive. With my mind.." Or something like that. Mostly because there's sorta a lot of things that are annoying him, and finally a villain of some kind? Well, can someone say Stress Relief?
