It was strange really, learning to worry about the prospect of death, learning that there was in fact something to live for... in my case, the friends who looked after me... how ironic it seems now that in the end, I am still here whilst Silica is in this world no longer...

I never really addressed them by that... I always called them associates, affiliates or acquaintances... I suppose I didn't want to call them friends since I wouldn't be able to live very long... I wouldn't have been able to be with them for their future struggles, funny how semiotics and connotations work, right?~ After all, they meant the same for me at that time just wit different connotations...

I suppose I'm happy that I'm alive now... that I can live past what was supposed to be the death of me... but, it really was quite odd afterwards. I was living with no hopes or dreams, no aspirations for the future, no direction and no consideration for what I would do with the rest of my life... to suddenly gain that capacity was quite terrifying for me...

Of course, all that is just memory and the  Omphalos Hypothesis certainly applies to that since it technically never happened, after all, that was my backstory not anything in-game... I guess that was really all for naught, but then again, I might just be a tad nihilistic in that thought...>
