I don't really know. In my case since I take Software as an elective subject, the teacher had us use Python first since it's a rather simple language so we could get used to the logic and then after getting used to programming, went straight into Java followed by PHP and MySQL. I'm currently learning C++ with the Qt library for an assignment, it was quite easy to pick up due to it's similarities with Java and hopefully I'll be able to return to using C++ except by itself without using Qt as a crutch.

Try Python or Java. Once you learn one it's way easier to learn others.

Python is a simple programming language, it's easy to learn.
Java is a more complex programming language.
C++ is similar to Java, except you can fuck around with stuff that gives you more options when done right, or cause a memory leak and fuck yourself if done wrong.
Qt is a library for C++ that helps with GUI-design and media management.

PHP is what allows sites to transfer data between pages and perform sessions. It is more similar to HTML than any of the above.
MySQL is for databases.

Try Python or Java. Once you learn one it's way easier to learn others.

Yeah, since you'll get used to how the logic, syntax and whatnot works.

Well, Pokemon aren't really living creatures, in-universe. After all, they never hurt people, are stored in devices far smaller than the creatures themselves, and are only "knocked out" by even the strongest of attacks. And that's not getting into limited movesets, TMs and HMs, or most items.
