Also, one does not simply stand ones ground and take a car to the face. You'd have to be a hell of a lot better at playing an immovable object than humans are. Force = mass times acceleration, yeah?  F=ma and all that.

Acceleration is meters per second per second. How quickly your velocity changes.

Now, what does this mean? Well, if a is higher, f is also higher. A can be higher if the change in velocity is higher or if the time is shorter.

Baaasically, rooting himself and tanking ensures Luthar takes as much damage as possible short of actually running into it.

Luthar should still have taken damage from the car, regardless of defense. 

Cars don't have stats, they shouldn't have a dice roll attached to them because they'd practically always fail.  However, to compensate, their damage is fixed to 130 HP and stuns the target for two turns, unless someone wants to come up with a fair damage system based off acceleration of cars.

Nope. Fixed 130 HP damage, stun for two turns, no mitigation. Seriously, dude, you just got a car rammed into you.

Short of being a giant or a dragon or something, that's going to hurt.
