An aria is a chant of scripture (can be any kind of scripture) that draws out the power of the chant and forms it into an effect. For example the Aria chanters in the battle used it to shield the Knights and templar from magic at the cost of having to keep up the chant to keep the buff active.

Marie considers them a form of magic. As do I. Persona runs on psychological concepts, Wall Street on economics, Void has been called Void magic in the past, yadda yadda yadda.

I mean sure, they may not be affected by anti- 'magic' stuff, but that's a different question. One that Marie will argue just as eagerly, mind.

Yeah...that wouldn't work. Will doesn't believe in any god he hasn't met or seen in the news, and he certainly doesn't worship any. I'm not sure how you could get less religious without denying the existence of Shys'm Caes to her face.
