Sen could probably wipe them out with a demon or two. Then she would just wipe them out with a world fire spell. Then she would go face to face and stab them with paper.

Hey Elf, what are the various views (cultural and legal) on magic around the world? Like, what does society as a whole think of it, since it's obviously not secret anymore.

Australia is the most liberal, what with them, Japan and Switzerland being the sites for Layar attacks being countered, so they're pretty sympathetic towards magic. America remains neutral, but generally leans towards keeping magic contained. China is trying to weaponise it, but failing, in part due to them not wanting to be weaponised and there being so few mages.
Britain doesn't really care. Greece is generally supportive, in part due to being generally one of the biggest hubs of magic in the world, along with Ireland and Japan.

Oh. That perfect for my plot then. *more scribbling*

The USA is neutral? WHUUUUUT?

I'd reckon they'd be the first to use the situation to a) be heavy handed in the arms race, especialy when china is already working on weaponisation and b) to use the threat of magical terrorists to somehow get more oil and/or be re-elected

Yuri's family and a certain organisation have a lot of pull in their government.

Actually it was stated just Iris controls America at one point. Japan is the Mirowdakas or what the name was.

on a side note, Wolfchild, "ARE YOU NOT LISTENING" is not fair if you are going to cause time paradoxes via inserting yourself into events that have already happened.

the discussion and the events might have taken a different course had Stella actually said any of these things, but Hainuwele not listening to events that happen in a different timeline is simply not fair, and your and/or your characters agitation over her arguements being ignored is really a point where one should step back and maybe consider finding a way to explain the characters absence and then reacting towards whatever comes as an answer to "what the hell happened"

I can and will not interact with time paradoxes on such a scale, it renders the last 8 hours entire moot

are you ever worried that characters being too powerful and influential makes most events arbitrary? I mean, what's the point if almost all problems happen to have a ready solution at hand? Like the car crash incident. Immediatly, 3 seperate healers spring up, at least one of which has healing abilities to such a legendary extend, they are just a sliver short of necromancy

Because Iris is basically used for nothing other than invading privacy when it would be impossible to do otherwise.

Yuri's family is kind of... been told to stay the hell away from Yuri.

And presumably it's nigh impossible to make more of the paste. Right Elf?

Chiron will probably make a much less powerful and easier to apply version for combat, increasing regen, but it isn't going to regrow your arm. Making more of the actual Panacea is both ridiculously hard and requires about a month just for the ingredients to ferment.

Sorry about being late. I was convinced (read "bribed") to work a bit longer to cover for not enough people showing up to close up.

((yeah, convenient dice roll here. fine. be the giant monster that invades and helpless race, you hero))
How dare you assume to know my plan? Especially when your assumption is pretty much at odds with virtually everything Will has said?
The least he will do is set up a "DANGER--Do Not Enter" sign around the enclave. The most he will do is reveal the existence of the mouse-folk to the world and campaign for proper rights and protection.
...
Okay, I suppose having Shys'm Caes make them a planet of their own to live on is something he would be willing to do, but the above is the most he's likely to do.

Quote
((and to be precise, Wulingyuan national park. Whomever said that she just walked to the nearest town. I clearly said divination and omens have made this town the target of her journey, nothing of how long it was. I did mention she doesn't get the significance of the place either))
Well, I think my pre-roll assumption that she came from Australia was pretty acceptable. How the heck did she cross the Pacific Ocean?

"Please, Kyle, do you have a moment? Everyone is just busy with getting ready with the dinner party, nobody will listen..."
Will's usually willing to chat.
Oh, wait, that would turn into an argument.

"The guards are on highest alert since I have been gone, they *will* attempt to kill him. Wether they are able to or not, I can not judge Wills power accurately, but there will be a blood bath."
Okay, that's just insulting. Why the hell did you assume Will would go alone? He would bring Qi (since it's in China), dragon-Stella, probably Nuriel, possibly some kind of police (less likely in China) and anyone else who wanted to go.

Quote
"And it doesn't end there either. The deaths happened under chinese law, and the chinese, as you can maybe imagine, might be the worst people to judge those that Will is going to capture, if he doesn't outright kill them. They will have no sentiment for the situation my people are in, and without a doubt will make moves to eradicate our entire enclave, if only as not to appear weak."
I think you're confusing China with North Korea.
China's no utopia, but it's not two parts insane to one part evil like North Korea seems to be, or three parts evil to one part card-carrying like your description is. Even the China from Will's world isn't...okay, maybe that one, but he basically comes from a world composed primarily of the cheesiest cliches from superhero comics.
But yeah, his plans are going to be...changing.

((400.000 is impressive? I am certain that counts as endangered, especially with the small area they are in))
Maybe if they counted as an insect. I'm not sure what the exact numbers are, but I'm pretty sure rodents (closest approximation) aren't endangered until the thousands at most.
Also, 400k is slightly smaller than Miami, Florida. Or a bit larger than St. Catharines, Ontario, if you're Canadian.

"PUT UP WARNINGS!!! if necessary PUT THEM INSIDE THE GLAMOUR, then they don't give away that you are there as easily
I wonder why they never thought of that. Are Akroma's Chinese so stupid they can't understand that places marked with signs saying it's a dangerous place are places they do not want to set up their tent in?

Stella, despite not being the scaly Stella, gently bops Bethany.
WYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYRRRRMMMMMMMMMMM!
"Like, OMG, I am sooooooooo sorry right now. Dragons just like, piss him off."
I wonder what would happen if Corebus met Tabella.
Under heavily-guarded conditions.

>...or at least convincing him that doing this is a terrible plan...<
Why is everyone assuming that Will will blindly follow his original plan despite the colony being in China and not Australia?
Also, what the hell do they think his original plan was?

Why is she made of metal?
This is the first thing that seems odd to him? Not the demons, catgirls (if Camille is around, otherwise it's singular), nightmare, etc?

The puppy eyes are unneeded as Kyle is still sorry about the earlier incident.
"Do you need something to wear? Because I think my sister has a dress that can fit you."
When did Kyle get a sister?

a) I have asked you to stop with the entire OOC "stalk everything hainuwele sais ever and add your two cents". the passive aggressiveness has sparked arguements before, and Elf wants no arguements. it is ruining the fun entirely, and I ask you nicely, leave me alone. in-character do the hell you want, but OOC, you are becoming insult
I'm "becoming insult"? You're the one who's accusing my character of "becoming the kind of evil that he usual[l]y fights," and refusing to justify this statement with any kind of explanation.

Quote
b) if your power works on what he knows, then good luck. some of the connections you have made are incorrect, or simply pure assumptions. others dont take the boastful part into account.
You know what? It doesn't matter that much, overall. There's enough grains of truth in the lies. Even a single death every few years--aka, enough to make having warriors trained in fighting humans (or any non-hunter warriors, if there aren't wars between Fingerlings) worthwhile--in a small enough area would be a sufficient trend to be noticed. Oh, and unless you've talked with Elf extensively about what the Fingerlings' settlement is actually like...we only have your claims to go on.

of course it is not an accurate reflection. no single person of a whole race can give an accurate reflection

the common denominator is that most are absolutely terrified of humans because of the perceived threat, however real that may be. how they deal with that on their own is different, but as a whole yes, the rulers have decided that silencing those who find their location is for the good of the kind
So...basically, the impressions we're getting are correct.

who are all of these invitations going to?
Cyrielle and Kyle got ones from Abraxas and Pestilence, and Ester, Belladonna, Maria and Selina got them from either Anansi or Chiron.
And Will didn't get one from anyone.
He really needs to get in contact with Abraxas.

Hey Elf, what are the various views (cultural and legal) on magic around the world? Like, what does society as a whole think of it, since it's obviously not secret anymore.
Well, if Elf doesn't contradict my statements...
People are afraid/worried about magic--especially due to magical terrorists, including a couple warlords in Africa--but most nations haven't passed many laws regarding it (past simple, monopurpose ones), except the US which banned it. However, magicians are often seen as celebrities thanks to the first ones to get front-paged being the Northdale 5.
Past that, I haven't thought much about it and Elf seems to have thought even less about it.

The USA is neutral? WHUUUUUT?

I'd reckon they'd be the first to use the situation to a) be heavy handed in the arms race, especialy when china is already working on weaponisation and b) to use the threat of magical terrorists to somehow get more oil and/or be re-elected
As an American, I find this highly insulting!
China's too big of a trade partner for us to engage in an arms race without significant reason, and the politicians only try to get re-elected with things that work.
And I have no idea how it would get them more oil. Unless there's a magical girl who generates oil.

on a side note, Wolfchild, "ARE YOU NOT LISTENING" is not fair if you are going to cause time paradoxes via inserting yourself into events that have already happened.
You know, Stella wasn't the only one talking...

Well past midnight, but screw it, I got the other games done first, it was mostly because my computer was being slow, and hey, there's a Harry Potter marathon some people are playing. Maybe I'll beat my record for staying up late. And sleeping in late (hopefully).
