Darnos is amoral, Xan just has some sort of incomprehensible moral system that would drive Lovecroft insane.
I prefer adopting the same option as @Xantalos, though I will reuse characters with heavy modifications if either they were never in the RP they were designed for, or did little to no RP (currently, only Silica meets that second case, since the entirety of her Perplexicon RP consisted of her being oblivious to all the murder that happened around her and communicating in ways that did not entail murder or !!SCIENCE!!).

Oh yeah, before I forget/go to sleep, has the parents day arc in TA ended yet? Because I was waiting for that before getting back in with a character that is literally a Mary Sue. But you know, he literally hated the Mary Sue life style so much that he removed every bit of magic generated by Sue's in his solar system and ended up wiping out all the other Sue's as well as being brought down to normal.
