also, what exactly is that other characters power, perhaps both powers can be differentiated enough to not overlap too much

I see that almost everyone is running multiple characters, then, should the one with the similar ability be a minor character, I'd kindly request that the minor character should consider altering the power, I mean, with 50+ characters, pretty much all interesting powers are already reserved, but so many of them are just minor side characters

what's wrong with two characters having similar powers. My character is about all the perks of being tiny, going with a stealthy, analytic approach, that requires planning and great care. chances are the other character has an entirely different approach as to what to make of this power

Major character, and he has the stealth approach as well. His power is flaw detection, part of what's pretty much Sherlock Holmes' power, only amplified.

I can, however, permit her to have unerring aim, which will always hit what she wants to hit.

Appearance, Normal: A fairly short (~3'2") kindergartner. She has straight auburn hair to her shoulders, pale skin, and blue eyes. She wears glasses and green clothes of various sorts.
Appearance, Magical: This generous friendly magical girl's droopy eyes are the color of an overcast sky and her medium-length, wavy, fine, black hair is worn in a military-style style. She is tall (6 ft and a bit) She has an hourglass build. Her pretty, odd costume is yellow and blue in even proportions and glows with a powerful radiance.
Power: Her Magical Girl powers are mainly fire-based. Angel's Magical Girl form is also significantly taller (looking like a tall, beautiful 18-year-old), stronger, and has a pair of wings which can be used to fly.
Background: Angel is a child prodigy. She began school a year early and is in first grade despite being only 5. More importantly, she reads a lot. She's not a talker, which gives her plenty of time to spend reading various scientific books and such. She had a firm grasp on how the world worked since some time in kindergarten.
You may have gathered that this didn't last. It didn't.
A few months ago, Angel was on a camping trip and got lost while hiking. She tried to find her way beck to the campsite, but couldn't. She tripped and fell into a ravine...next thing she knew, she was back at the campsite with no injuries or fatigue and a weird sun-shaped mark on her chest.
Since then, Angel has discovered her ability to invoke the form of a neo-angelic being (the modern interpretations of angels, that is) with pyrokinetic abilities...or something like that. Angel is interested in how this works and irritated that her "other self" is a lot different--more outgoing and valiant, and also stupid and not interested in scientific processes. Where will this lead? Soon...we may see.

while the character who is just named Will, and has no description besides "will get description when he matters" was the side character.

I find slight offense that my entire charconcept gets canceled because people with a dozen characters called upon a similar ability without even making it a full sentence
