Personally, I am not. But that's mainly because I dislike any crossovers and alternate world plots, actually, I designed Cyrielle so that it would be difficult to get her into any plot with those parameters.

I am unsure about the other players.

Being completely new to this game, I can't really say. Personally I think that the plothook was not very engaging. Alternate Kyle (or whoever that was. Still learning names here) just showed up and talked about the alternate dimension without offering good reasons why the evil people in it had to be stopped. The group had no real reason to get involved or care about the new plot.

It's a plot.
Will's definitely in. He's fascinated by this new world, and one of his defining characteristics (along with hubris and snark) is curiosity.

I have the right to leave this game do I not? If I cannot do so temporarily, I shall do so permanently. For Cyrielle, IC and OOC are more amalgamated than kept separate.

I prefer having plots be contained within their contextual setting without dragging in other settings that other players happen to like. Doing so undermines the entire point of the setting does it not? You're no longer using the setting if you must start implementing additional universes and it just starts going from original work to pseudo-fanfiction. Furthermore, the details them selves get muddled, such as with Demons Run's properties causing issues as soon as other realities becoming involved. This also applies to Cyrielle's contracting entity, though to a lesser degree as it is on the opposite end of the timeline. Whilst such things are tolerable to an extent when they are with other original pieces of work in a coordinated manner rather than merely taking ideas this does not seem to be the case here. An additional issue is that my characters were never designed for crossovers. They were designed to work within the setting rather than to interact with elements outside of it.

But I digress for now; you may deliver flawless rebuttals to all my arguments, but my opinion is still my opinion is it not?

I'm not opposed to having elements of other 'worlds' interact with us, mind, so long as we define them and make sure we know what they do and such without going into MASSIVE CROSSOVER LAND. The alien is still a wonderful source of conflict, as I like to think Emp might say.

I'm considering shutting down all crossovers. Pretty much only SMT gets away by dint of Scap using SMT in the game before I took over, and I'll shut it down if I smell canon characters in it.

Apart from that, only vanilla RotMG would be allowed.

The Slayers plot was thought out? They literally just met those guys and then left.

They've been on a ship in the middle of the ocean*. What should they be doing? Organizing a game of truth-or-dare?

*Because apparently DR didn't want to try wormholing a whole ship?

They're only like a hundred miles out and with a decent roll it only did it to within fifty, which might drop them in the middle of land, causing the ship to have... issues.

Because we need someone to make a plot that exists in the same universe as our magic girls and is important (Actually can't be subverted through mundane means) enough that we actually need to step in. So maybe an apocalypse or terrorist organization that we need to work alone or in pairs to beat so as to keep it interesting and develop the characters more.

Not necessarily that important or fantastical. An event that is of some significance and can be resolved through entirely mundane means can still be used if the characters get caught up in.
