Ok, I will continue the plot, but I'm still not fudging rolls. Also, Please no arguing during the fight. You can judge me afterwards.

Also, If you want any information ask here, or pm me (which will probably get answered right away.).

I really don't want to continue argueing, but mind controling someone by sending him into a fully sensory illusion that also paralyses the body is not subtle. Especially when said body really is just a remote-controled machine, while the actual mind is 500 miles away, but so be it. I do however argue that when stuff like that happens, ICARUS does not use up battery on the wasted move - either the move happens or not. ICARUS is extremely mana dependant, and gets at best 4 moves until she is forced to retreat. ((though I think more players would be mana dependant too, if they'd bother to keep track of their mana, and had actual rules on to how much mana must be used for what))

my question, what do you mean 60% chance to resist? a TN of 40 on a d100? Do our actual stats not factor into that equation?

also, 60% sounds nice on paper, but on average it means that 4 out of 10 turns, we either do nothing, or even something detrimetal. 4 out of 10 turns is almost half of the fight. I am not sure elf quite thought that through when he approved that so easily.

Because Elf did not think that the party would have any problems.

Also, Icarus' battery is still at full charge, so don't worry about that.

Full mindcontrol would completely place one under one's power while subtle mind control is more suggestion than control. When he told alice to rest up, it was because his voice was suggesting that she was tired and sleep. The same with Wolf being hungry.

So long as there is a connecction to his eyes or voice, Osmo has the ability to implant his suggestions into a sentient being.

As for the rolls, the mind control will not be used in battle, due him already using it to control 100,000+ knights, and if he loses mana incarnate it becomes to exerting to upkeep. His True word power does not use of mana, but thats an entirely different story.

There is the matter of numerical superiority, the player characters aren't the only supernatural entities that may oppose him. Plus this IS Bay12, so you could try aiming for something crazy that minimizes the rolls he can actually make, that is, out of combat maneuvers that do not involve his stats. Or, bombard him with a large quantity rolls that he needs to make resistance rolls against, using radiation protection gear in conjunction with a dirty bomb or wearing gas masks and using chemical weapons come to mind, particularly ones that may debuff stats. Stacking poison and bleed effects also could work, seeing as they'll damage every turn even if everyone is unable to attack for that turn.

Well, this thread never gave me much of an opportunity for that in the past few weeks now did it? :P

As for other courses of action, I'd like to theorize that the optimal course of action should be the one that violates as many sections of the Geneva convention and other warfare treaties, protocols and the like in the shortest amount of time possible.

Such as setting off a couple of dirty bombs, releasing rainbow herbicides, you know? The usual? Perhaps some anthrax into the mix as well. Add some aerosolized narcotics, they're always fun to mess with, and some mustard gas while you're at it. Course, why stop there? Have a few summoning circles nearby and see if any of the void entities are amused enough by the proceedings to join in the !!FUN!!

I am not sure demons bleed and/or get poisoned. I will count on the specific anti-demon metal to be effective both as weapon and as armor

Ok... So... Drakon did enough damage to put Keith at 48 damage. Should that mean his leg is broken or amputated?
