well, what really bugs me how awefully convenient it is to use magic that runs of your stat that actually governs your magic resistance, without the need of putting points in magic, very minmaxy. I mean, even ICARUS has points in magic, just to justify the partcle cannon doing magic damage without being minmaxy

As said, these are people that hate magic. So everyone of them uses a different form of Magic. Plus, this plot is meant to build character for at least Sen, Will, Uhco (when I get around to introducing her) and Constanza. Anyone else that uses said plot for character building is a bonus.

Anyways, their magic is more true word magic, use words get power. Consider it a mana that doesn't run off of mana, but still has a shit ton of restrictions placed on it.

Nope. All he learned was they had found Mana Incarnate and that whatever it was was very important to the goals of the order.
