Whilst it is possible that in that length of time, Kyle could have rolled the required DC, it is also entirely possible for him to fail catastrophically. Additionally, no amount of time would make a program that's very language restricts logic structures to infinite loops and has an entire decade's worth of music any more efficient. As for the void information, Kyle would either have been given all the necessary information, thus giving him plenty of knowledge of the void, possibly more than even Ashley, or, he would have had to have rolled a 100. Whilst it is only a matter of time given how long he had, he could have equally likely rolled a 1 first which would have presumably broken the laptop.

No they cannot. AI can't do that. AI are still very much confined to their hardware, because at the end of the day, they're still software at the mercy of hardware. Kyle's suit OS was programmed specifically for his armor.

The closest things to AI in this setting are Anne and Wheatley who aren't remotely related to them in origin, they're more like beings that interact with the world through distortions and programs that contain a specific function.

That's assuming Kyle has any idea how to code them. Assuming of course they can even be coded. After all, coding involves making instructions that are then translated into machine code that gives orders to the hardware, it is highly unlikely to do that on a simple laptop, especially considering that the code in question is based entirely on infinite loops.
