The Lives and Times of Bay12: An Adventure in Animation
« on: August 16, 2013, 08:11:52 pm »

Following Vector's post in the rage thread I had the best/worst idea. We could make cartoon shorts of various posts for the amusement of all! We'd probably have to get permission from the ones who wrote it first, but that's a non-issue. Usually this would be the typical thing I come up with but never execute but Fniff wanted to join in and I had no idea what he wanted to do but he's doing things anyway and that's what matters.

Now that we have the two of us and I'm making a thread in Creative Projects, we're going to need people! And ideas. And organization. Organization would be nice and will be kind of crucial in the long run. We're going to need voice actors, people who know anything of animation and video editing. Honestly, I could take care of all three personally but that'd end up with a horrible thing nobody would like to watch so that's why I'm calling in others. Hell, I could probably take care of ideas too, but being the ideas guy is arguably the easiest job and everyone wants the easiest job.

also i have no idea what i should write in this op, as i've never actually posted on this board so tell me what needs work thanks

I volunteer my (quite hammy) voice and accent to this. I believe one of the videos in the guns of icarus thread (over in other games) features me singing.

My voice is horrible, but I still wants to help, so maybe I can do some arting.
I don't have any reliable animation program, but I can do slideshow doodles a la Extra Credit.

Due to having an awful voice and a broken mic, I will merely follow this with interest.
though if I ever get around to fixing my mic, I may contribute.

It'd be better if you didn't yell as much. Yelling into mics makes the sound shitty :P

E: Maybe I'll pitch in my voice too. Having a deep voice basically instantly the start of puberty rocks. (Because I can use voice chat in video games without being called a stupid kiddie)

E2: Incredibly silly and stupid sample.
