Flygon got a 3-sweep; that Crit form Cro-bat did you in.

That, and switching to Swampert instead of Camerupt.

I like Camerupt. He's probably my favorite pokemon. I was disappointed to see his tier.

I forgot I replaced Swampert's ice beam.

I don't know if it would have mattered. She went first. If you'd gone for Camerupt, she would've been gone, at least, even if you hadn't switched Golem out.

And then you would have had Swampert left over to kill Crobat.

But I think Crobat was really the MVP there. The crit that stopped Flygon's sweep(confusion could have, but still), and finishing Steelix off.

If Mamoswine hadn't died I probably could've taken Crobat there. Otherwise though, I sort of derped. :/

I think the biggest mistake was setting up stealth rock instead of finishing off the Roserade; it could and did sweep through much of your team. A good Sucker Punch would've done it. Alas, I was looking forward to an Electric vs. Ground matchup. I'll be ready to battle ICBM pilot at some point tomorrow, whenever (s)he's available.

alright then, we are waiting for electric vs poison, and ice vs ground

interest scan for the tournament after this:

I have 3 basic ideas. the first is the obvious, another monotype, using the types that were absent in the first round. ghost, fighting, normal, dark, flying, steel, dragon, fire, rock

the second one would use http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~msandbot/pokemon/blackwhite.html to determine your top 10 favourite pokemons. however, from the 10 pokemon that will be posted in a screenshot, you only get to pick one, the remaining 5 will be picked by your opponents, out of the remaining top 9. that way, there will be vary varied teams, I hope. the player may also chose one from the list that he absolutely does not want on the team

the last, yet lose idea is that I post a list of 3 dozen "themes" (jungle, teamfortress 2, 7 sins, etc etc), and people may pick from this list and build a team. those teams must be described on the forum, as to why each pokemon suits the team

I would be up for another monotype, although I would like the ability to fully change teams between rounds. The second one seems kinda silly, and from what I did of it appears to take an eternity. You can also just say that all the strong ones are your favorite and have an advantage over those who appreciate the artistic merits of Nincada. I like the idea of theme teams. Could we just do an NU tournament?  :P

well, if someone goes "well I really like all dem ubers" then we can still just go "oh come on you faggot" and simply not put him in the brackets

also, only takes like 5 minutes

did it just now, this is what came up:

I have no idea how empoleon ended up in there, so I would vote him out.
my guaranteed pick would be gastrodon of course, because fuck yes, gastrodon

The point is that it's impossible to get any sort of balance with that system. I don't think anyone would actually spend 30 minutes clicking through that to specifically get all the box legendaries. I spent about 5 minutes trying to go through that thing and made it through about 75. You are either a wizard or a time lord.

Finally finished that thing. Thought I share it because of number 10.

I'm glad that Parasect made it, but only because Sandslash went against Houndoom early on. He should of been second.

I have an idea for a tournament, based on a challenge a guy has for their league.

All of your Pokemon must start with the same letter. However, you may have one über. This is because it's difficult to find good Pokemon, and also because the guy went with H and had Ho-Oh.

The rules would basically be Über rules, but five of your Pokemon must be from OU and below. And of course, start with the same letter.

I call dibs on K.

For obvious reasons, I will go with the letter A

actually, G it is
