the thing with ice is similar as with bug. your crippling weakness doesn't matter if you out-damage the enemy as fast as you possibly can

MUHAHAHA BURN MOTHERFUCKERS

kinda like this

still a bit of an oversight that you didn't put any fire moves anywhere...then again, I am not sure any ice mons have access to fire...well, there is always hidden power. 70 base power is acceptable

in the end, I guess kyurem probably has access to a fighting move. superpower does magnezone in easily

also yes, I guess switching out items is alright, same for switching several moves

I guess if it's just switching moves, that's up to 6 changes. an item counts as one change, a mon (4 moves and an item and a mon) is 6 changes

so you might as well switch 3 items and 3 moves
or change every mon, as long as items and moves stay the same....might be difficult

yes, that sounds flexible enough

If it makes you feel better, a scarfed Kyurem couldn't have done the 45% damage to finish off Magnezone, so the mistake didn't cost you that much. (On the other hand, you got to OHKO the Rotom-H that otherwise would have done harm to Kyurem.)

Is the one pokemon switch allowed between every round, and you get to fully change your team upon entering the losers' bracket, or can one only change one Pokemon upon losing?

only upon losing, so to say, to make up for the loss. a loss means you only have one more chance, and really need to work on your weaknesses. until you are still winning, no switches, afterall you still get a second chance if you lose. until then, your team is just fine

Kyurem-B does not get superpower. It learns no physical moves at all that would have dealt 45%. (Focus Blast would do it, but either way he was locked into Outrage.)

Mostly I'm wondering about my Rotom changing forms. It just changes subtype and learns one different move. I can make do without it, but it could be handy.

Earth Power would have done it. I think. 4x weakness at least.

Speaking of, should I switch out Outrage and/or Dragon Claw for extra coverage?

Outrage. Dragon Claw doesn't lock you into an attack.

Also, Outrage is only good if you have an entry hazard or their Pokemon are squishy.

the sheer destructive power of outrage though is why almost any team needs a defensive steel mon. nothing can safely switch into it

in many places, it's refered to as "the win button"

the downside if being locked down is not that big, the real downside is the confusion. if not for the confusion, I would have certainly lost to the haxorous last tourney

And of course, if you have the right berry...

Outrage isn't that much of a pain to me anyway, unless it's someone like Salamence, in which case I just throw in the towel, because Salamence.

Also because I usually have at least one dragon counter capable of outspeeding it or with a quick claw.

quick claw is just unreliable, and berries tie you down

Nyeh.

Have any other suggestions on how you remove confusion on outrage then? I normally rely on berries if I need to do that.

Own Tempo? Not with Kyurem-B, but still.

Or someone with Wish/Healing Bell.

Goddamn Wish. I hate it so much.
