i love the map

it's so ready and waiting to get FUCKED UP by some SWEET MAGIC

X MEN, WELCOME TO DIE!

Since I won't be attacked yet, leisurely attempt 58,41,43 until it works or I'm out of magic juice.

"Two wizards walk in, one walks out. No need to lose your head over it..."

4+5+2= 11 as target number

[Rolled:6,2,1,3,4,6,2,2,3,5,2,1]
[Successes:6,4,6,5,]
[Negatives:1,1,]
=4 total.

A large, shiny lump of copper clanks to the ground.

"Until it works" is a rather silly thing here since these words are one use.

Okay.

POWER UP THE BASS CANNON

If not attacked:  3,4 then 2,6 then 7,32:  Equip results
If attacked:  53, then look into his eyes and 47,59

4+1=5
Rolled: 6 successes

You summon in an armored vest. It's woven out of what looks like metallic fabric with plates of bright silver metal layered across it like snake scales.  You pick it up and put it on.

4+1
Rolled:12!
You feel a sudden rush as magical energy pours into you from the aether and then straight into your spell
Rolled:7
Total: 19!

You get a metal helmet that, when put on, expands out into a heavy metal mask and neckguard that completely protects your head and everything down to your shoulders. Inside the faceless metal mask, monitors feed you crystal clear images of Tsuchi, complete with range markings and probable attack strategies.

5+3

Rolled:7

A bright, silver body stocking covered in neon green rings appears in front of you. It doesn't look like it has any protective capacities, but it is sort of stylish.

Sweet lid.

If not attacked, do 8,33 and 28,24.  If the first spell fails, do 1,34.  Otherwise, do 1, 31.

If attacked, face the attacker and 12,44.

Did not do the math on that one. Well, guess I'll have to try something else... wish I had the delay word really
21,44 then 16,50,47 only if I have two or more dice than the roll I'd need. Where are the numbers, by the way? I may have not looked far enough in the document or just missed it.

5+3
Rolled:5
An image of a small firearm flashes in front of you then wavers and fades

2+4
Rolled:10

Five globes of lava, each the size of a bowling ball, appear and begin hovering around you quite quickly.

(lava Orbiting orbs [10])

^post that with your subsequent turns till it is dispelled, if ever^

5+3
Rolled: 10

A ray gun, complete with shiny chrome body, superfluous fins and glowing rings, and a weird pointy bit at the end. It's all googie and weird.

5+5
Rolled 7
A small model of a cigar shaped, cartoonish rocket clinks to the ground. Hmm

3+2+1
Rolled 12

You get a shell that looks like it would be fired by the guns of a battleship; it's like 4 feet tall, with a shell bigger then your head and a casing the size of a trashcan. It's got "DANGER EXPLOSIVE: WP" stenciled on it's side.

Stare angrily at resulting spell.

"I think it would be much better if I could catch a break, yeah? Don't go for it yet. Make this interesting for the both of us.

If attacked, use 45,10,23
Otherwise, 22,35. then 6,29

Hell yeah, Raygun Gothic bro.

((I didn't actually touch raygun gothic this time around. I thought about it, but wanted to do clockwork, and threw in one other as a second thought.

My original plan was to summon a bunch of flintlocks in one go and fire them Mami Tomoe style, hence the beheading joke. That failed.

So then I tried to make a cool gun and a WP shot to go with it.

That failed.

So now I'm screwed horribly.))

So wait, the funny looking rocket isn't Raygun Gothic?

How'd you get a WP shell when WP is 4 cost?  I'm curious as to that word combo.  (Not like one extra point would make you fail that spell.)

((That's totally "incendiary white phosphorus ammunition". The element for the cigar is Nanotech. Given the failure, it's probably a laser hair remover or something.))

I think you actually did use raygun gothic. I would prove it but I erase the list as it is used. OH WELL, you would have failed clockwork too, I believe.

Also, him shooting will get you a reaction, so there's that chance.

And the chance that he misses, since he's shooting from a way off.

Huh, weird.  Both my armor pieces are Nanotech, while the gun's Raygun Gothic.

EDIT- Let's assume my targeting helmet helps, hur hur.

((I never had raygun gothic on the list, just nanotech. If the number is erased next to another nanotech, that's the one. Not that it matters.))

Use everything on the list from before except the 6,29 if you haven't done the turn/started already.

Toaster Dex roll: Target:5, Rolled: 6

Toaster snaps his ray gun up into a perfect Weaver stance and fires a bright green condensed blast of destructive light with a resounding ZAP!
