A cluster of about a dozen or so black biometal orbs, each covered in foot long, wriggling, randomly grasping tentacles appear around Tsuchi and orbit him in fast, erratic paths.

His whale, on the other hand, is much less sucessful. Mostly because Great has no pokemon to attack. His bear fell apart, after all.

The defensive implements are only created in reaction to the offensive implements. Such as the beached whale, or the tentacle orbs.

Tsuchi creates a strange sort of weapon; A whip made of a strange, leathery chitin and covered in poisonous stingers. It buzzes continuously and loudly enough that it's difficult to even be around without holding your ears.
