Hm...is there a word to enchant items? I think there is.

Could you use a combination of words to make an enchantment on an item that makes it enchant items it touches with the enchantment?

Maybe a word to have "consumable", although could wind up being hilarious if you have a steel pill.

Something to cause, maybe, Faerie Fire from D&D? I guess a better way of putting it is "f**king useless glowing".

Enchant was a circle, not a word.

Not entirely useless. It reveals the invisible, provides a (very) little light, and it has been used to drive off a bear at least once.

Didn't know it did that, the light isn't useful enough to even act like a torch, though yeah in pure darkness maybe it's OK, and the bear scenario must have been a forgiving GM.

If I send a bear, they're angry bears. Because bears.

It's about as bright as a candle.

And the GM was swayed by the argument that the bear would be freaked out. And it doesn't hurt that the bear in question was not, in fact, an angry bear.

I'd allow it, if it was a wild encounter. I mean, that does make sense. If I was a wild animal and some weird creature came up and started FUCKING GLOWING, I'd have some serious problems with that. But, not the MURDER problems. The "What the fuck just happened" problems.

---

Maybe a specific "enlarge" and "shrink" spell? Possibly better with circles, I know, but if you could do some words that match circles most base form (the smallest versions) I think players would be able to forgo circles if they wanted, to expedite game setup.

Possibly a group of words that modify already existing features- not "huge", as you can enlarge a "huge" object the same you can any other. More... verb-y. For a poison sword, something like "increase production" to make it more venomous.

You can already say *Grow whole body* or *Shrink whole body*. Also how do you make a sword made out of pure poison more poisonous? I guess you can enchant it though circles to inject poison, which would technically make it double poison... I guess.

Possibly increase overall poison damage, or make said poison worse (say, it causes intense pain in the affected area, or necrosis, etc.)

Specialized variants of "more" and "less", I guess.

There is Greater and Less Greater... Or something along the lines. Gastorpit(Poison) Already caused extreme pain and necrosis, to the point of that attempting to take a sword made out of it left a flesh player hand (And good part of arm) useless.

This gave me an idea. We should be able to have spells that allow one to alter the size of...certain parts of anatomy.

Like arms and teeth. That would help with combat abilities. Why, what did you think I meant?

Someone shrunk one of their legs in Pit of Magic.
