You don't have to wait long for the first render to hover through the doorway, and you
charge it, and almost cleave it in half. It retaliates with a
quick jab at your ]stomach, leaving bloody gashes with its claws. Your next swing neatly decapitates the beast, the glowing head darkening even before it hits the ground. The second render is close behind, and you notice its claws glow before it attacks you - but perhaps fortunately for you, it misses, and the glow subsides. Taking no chances, you
hack at the monster, but don't quite manage to kill it. The render
attacks again, this time without any glow, but still leaving painful stripes, not quite enough to
throw off your aim. The second render falls before you with a gashing would through its chest.
