Yup, just sling the web stuff around a branch, rather than trying to stick it to stuff. Should work, and isn't complex.

Also, boy are those eagles impatient. Didn't we use some sort of mind control chemicals, ... whatever on them?

No, we just cohabited and occasionally shared food.

If it's too cold at night, we could always make those silk clothes of evolution attempts past. Should keep us warm enough for now. We could dig under a tree, and post guards during the day.

Since we are losing food ((I am assuming, since we don't get a clear picture of how many meals a Gyrdrake corpse would yield)), maybe we should dedicate four more nightmace on hunting duty, and split them up into two teams?

((Could we separate the 'twenty nightmaces' into, say, 'ten hunter nightmaces', 'two scientist nightmaces' et. cetera.?))

Make silk nets to use for fishing

Cooperatively spin silk ropes, and tie them to a branch. Put a branch in the 'hammock', and tie it to the base of the tree. A bit more spinning and branchery later, and we'll have a hammock-tent strong enough to support the eagle-squids. Use sticky silk on the outside, so that we can camouflage it to look like a proper tree-nest.

If we have spare people, go tell them to find the squids. They should be perfectly happy with us following them around. Make a meeting-point for when the nest is finished.

We really want our bud's in on this. They could mean the difference in being predators and being predated. ( Yes, that is a word. Since now. )

Also, you don't actually have any food, so continuing will cause you to begin to lose nice things.

Well, we have a fresh corpse of some large animal.
Presumably we haven't discovered fire yet (We never rolled a 'discover fire' die or anything).
Why should it being raw be a problem?

The hammock idea is a good idea, +1. Still want a day-guard posted though, and the two five-group hunters. We need more hunters to bring the food in.

You never did anything with it. You'll have to butcher it to get the meat, and figure out more about the creature.

Well then I also suggest that we get one of us to butcher it

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

So, who wants to figure out an overall plan out of all these suggestions?

If needed, I'll combine some ideas using a few rolls tomorrow.
