We can only bring 12 units per trip.

For now, I suggest the antigrav, the computer components, two armor platings, and five rationses. The first two seem the most unique, the rest is about all we can take after that.

sounds good,

maybe we can contact our miner friend ROD?, see if he's interested in sharing the spoils in exchange for some transportation. assuming nobody else has claimed it by the time we can get to it, my thought is that sharing with Rod would increase our chances of getting a second haul

After we've taken what we want contact Rod and see if he want's to share what's left in exchange for sharing the truck use.

Um, if I recall correctly, it took several turns for Rod and his truck to get here.

Additionally, there's quite a lot of trees in the way. We'd have to clear those out somehow first.

Edit: We did transmit those coordinates on a secure frequency yes? Otherwise we shouldn't hope getting anything back after the first run.

It was secure, and now it's time for MineBot1000 to mine all the trees!

We can harvest approx. 1 tree per turn. Maybe 4 if we set all our bots on it.

And then we need to get them out of the way too.

I'm afraid it might take a while. ((On a side note, we can just burn the forest.))

I'm against that. It's ineffective without extreme effort, dangerous, angers the neighbors, and--worst of all--wastes resources.

How about this:
1. Let Drones guard the Area.
2. Craft some kind of container.
3. Let another Drone with the Container head to the Vehicle.
4. More room to carry stuff.
5. ???
6. Profit!

the drones still need to be able to carry the container through the trees. Thats the main problem.

Also, that means we would have minimal site security for a long time.

maybe build a small camp around the wreck for security until some Drones cut down enough trees.

Or you know, just walk twice. We're getting so focused on getting that truck with us, when we can just walk back forth multiple times.

I'm pretty certain that walking there thrice will be significantly faster (and cheaper) than cutting a way through the forest.

Seriously, we don't have to do things the complicated way all the time. Just when it has some advantage.
