Then everyone should proceed to climb on the buildings, and open fire on the Bullwart* coming from the left. The other 2 should be blocked by the ditch, forcing them to slow down to attack.

*Which is what I'm naming them, if they don't have any names yet. Otherwise, insert the correct name there.

You hear something large heading your way! It appears to be one of the Bairogs.

Yeah, they're called Bairogs, apparently.

Aside from that, +1.

Colony:
Everyone arm yourself with whatever weaponry is at hand
Disengage both machines. We don't want them to be damaged, or the oil well to be struck.
Then everyone should proceed to climb on the buildings, and open fire on the Bullwart* coming from the left. The other 2 should be blocked by the ditch, and forcing them to slow down to attack.

*Which is what I'm naming them, if they don't have any names yet. Otherwise, insert the correct name there.

Security drones:
This doesn't look good. Scavengers are already eating the bodies, yet the crash is fairly recent. I vote that the droids carefully approach the body. If the human appears to be alive, shoot the scavengers, otherwise, leave them alone and go inside.
Sounds like a plan, +1

Agreed. Away team heads right for the purple man to check him out and save him if possible. If the ship is gonna blow then have them just return with him as soon as it is safe for him.

Turn 11.2

Turn 11.2 (combat turn)

The Colony: (you might want to just follow this link instead since it's a big image: http://i.imgur.com/QTQUBxQ.png)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You give a command to get armed and retreat onto the top of the taller buildings and equipment. The clones say that they think they are safer inside and the Squad leaderbot informs you that "This model was not designed for climbing". After you are done ordering and swearing you go to pick up your laser rifle but the Combatbot you fixed has already taken it and started firing on the Bullwarts. You begin to climb on top of the manufacture module.

The Squad Leaderbot throws the machete to the robot that was working the smelter and goes to pick up the e-mag rifle. You guess that because of it's management software it's coordinating the defense, based on your orders of course.

The Rigs stop work in an attempt to protect themselves from damage.

Crash Site: (http://i.imgur.com/sdKAOtD.png)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The robots move closer to the wreck.

The dead humanoid appears to be a clone, it is wearing light combat armour with a Unitech logo emblazoned on the chest. It looks like it has been dead for a while and its face has been partly ripped off. There is an unknown model of e-mag pistol near the corpse and one of the nearby animals is dead, having been shot in the face.

The animals have taken notice of the robots but have no made any hostile moves.

Crash Site(2): (http://i.imgur.com/uwMCD9y.png)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The robots move around either side of the ship to look for an entrance.

A pair of animals move close to one of the bots and are nibbling on its legs!

There was some talk about software a while back. I thought I explained this but I guess I'll say it again just in case.

Management software allows robots to manage other robots so they act as a group. Basically:

Combat software + Management software = squad leader.

If you don't have a squad leader in a group of bots and you give a general command like "take cover", they are probably going to do stupid things since they aren't coordinated. In this case I'd probably make 2 robots try and hide behind a rock that only has room for one of them.

Crash site:
The one getting nibbled shoot the creatures nibbling it
Other one, keep scouting.

Also, I think we should bring back one of these creatures (dead would obviously be easiest), that pistol, and any interesting loots on the dead clone.

At home, I suppose it's opening fire on everything you can hit.

One Crash Site Robot: Grab Emag Pistol.
Other Crash Site Robot: Continue looking for means of entrance.

Once again the Research clones should just pull the leverladder.

And loot that shuttle for those there.

As for us, grab the knife and whatever gun (if any) is not in use. Barring that (say if it is in use) just order around the bots.

PTW.

...I'm mildly worried about what ripped the Unitech guy's face off.

Actions
-The guy who's being nibbled on get out of nibble range while shooting.
-The other guy support. Erase all hostiles before doing any scouting.

Turn 11.3 (combat turn)

The Colony: (you might want to just follow this link instead since it's a big image: http://i.imgur.com/ZdSjIR4.png)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You order the bots to focus fire on the bottom-most Bullwart. Apparently A-3 didn't hear you and continues to fire on the upper most one. (author note: Sorry guys totally didn't notice he had line of site on the bottom bullwart)

The research clones cower behind the closed door while the Bullwart attempts to grab a bag of clone chow. It drops the bag when it gets shot in the back though. It lets out a roar of pain.

Crash Site: (http://i.imgur.com/Y5rX8Lv.png)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A-2 Fires it's laser rifle at the animals nibbling on it's legs. As soon as the animal is dead the surrounding ones let out screeching noises.

A-1 begins to move over to support.

Could... the big robot with the 12 start sort of 'excavating' the bullwart chewing on it?

But it is just being hugged, isn't it cute?

Mining drill: hug back the bullwart with your drill.
