It's water. Look at the lower left corner of the update above the last. There's flow marks.

It's probably filthy and/or sludgy though.

Clouds. Some sort of castlecontinent in the sky maybe?

Poke the plant?

If it does nothing, move on. This land is weird and bridges indicate some form of at the very least bronze age society.

did anyone else notice that the counter dropped by 1 when we dropped the glaive through the clouds?

EDIT: went back through the thread.

Ok, times the counter changed.
Started at 2 when we first picked up the sword and axe
went down to 1 when we first saw the Shekshrall, and dropped the axe.
Went down to 0 when we hugged Sludge and turned grey and dropped the sword.
Went back up to 1 when we picked our sword back up.
Back to 2 when we picked up the axe again.
Down to 1 when we tried to give sludge the axe.
Back to 2 when we picked it back up.
Down to 1 when we dropped the glaive.

I think it's just our inventory.

Hey, seems we can wield the glaive with one hand thanks to patented "ROBO-STRANTH".

Grab another! And try to inventory the other weapons somehow? If not, double glaives should do. Examine the plant, and if it does nothing of importance, head back north along the cloud bridge.
