It happened on a quiet morning. Civilians were calmly going about their business trying rather successfully to forget about the war that had raged for years. Sure they believed in it but war fatigue affected all of them in some way or the other. A young girl kissed her boyfriend for the first time. An elderly couple laughed as the remembered their first kiss so many years ago. A middle aged man glanced at his watch as he heard a mysterious boom in the distance. Within that instance all of them, hundreds of thousands, were reduced to ash. The unlucky ones survived slightly. Heavily irradiated they died much more slowly than the others. Vomiting up their blood at their teeth fell out. No historian is sure about whom launched the bomb but it is agreed that our glorious country handled it well. Leading the remaining citizens to specialized bunker they set about eliminating all threats to our wonderful society. - The History of Mutually Assured Destruction, by Adam F. Eisenson

The game has started. Every player has 1 Nuke and 3 Bunkers the round will conclude after everyone has submitted their turn. All PM's MUST be forwarded to me.

I'll sign you up for the next game. Shouldn't be too long of a wait considering that it's supposed to be a quick game.

Yeah, I've a feeling that 3 people will die, first round.

Hopefully! Unless one person gets so annoying that we throw more nukes then they can stop.

But anyway, Woo! It's on!

Not really, but since this is a game of diplomacy, we should likely get diplomancing.

I'll be sure to mark it on my invisible character sheet, next to my kill count.

I guess I'll just have to take charge of the diplomacy, here.

Lukeinator: Who do you think is most likely to win?
a1s: Who do you think is the biggest threat?
kopout: Who do you believe is the smallest threat?
Chink: If you have 2 allies, then would you feel safe, as you can bunker everybody else?
Rolepgeek: You have enough allies vs. enemies that you can bunker them all, do you nuke an enemy, or backstab an ally?
Fniff: Someone just killed one of his own allies, do you try to ally with him, seeing him as someone powerful enough to help you win, or take him out, as he's a loose cannon?

'Bout to go all mafia on you all.

You, since you seem to have the highest skill level. I guess I'll have to go change my nuke vote.

Uh... Alrighty, I should probably mention that you actually can't do that... After this round cause I forgot to mention it. Once you place your cards you can't change them.*

*After Round 1 [Even then you can only change once.

In that case, can we move his along? You can't call a game "quick" if it takes over a week to finish. This is my problem with tabletop Diplomacy.
