You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

I don't think you need to be a asshole to not get along with a nihilistic death cult.

1: Military Squads, no. The valley is flat so keeping a lookout is easy. I think troop concealment/misdirection/interception will be part of espionage or a Tier Two Research Project. Civilian squads can be secret if you want them to be, but until you get espionage and spies, you wouldn't be able to use OOC knowledge of your opponents civilian squads against them, because scouting is a game mechanic.

So then we can attack military squads directly?

Mechanically/OOCly no. ICly yes. Seeing a foe coming and trying to attack them directly would be part of defending, so feel free to flavor your defenses that way.

So could we help an ally who is being attacked?

Is there a time limit on the peace phase or some amount of time you think we should be shooting for?

Also a question that I guess should be asked at sometime. How does combat. Like. Actually work?

I'm assuming a d100 + whatever the attackers bonus is, against the defenders defense bonus.

Multiple rolls I'd assume.
