Or Roy's playing possum. Roy healed himself (apparently fully, given that all of the damage marks went away) with the sword power, so it is possible that Hilgya didn't actually roll low enough to drop him below 0 HP. Sure, it killed Minrah outright, but she had a lower hit die and was probably quite a bit lower level.

He's not dead, but certainly appears to be between -1 and -9 HP along with the rest of the Order.

I wonder what sort of Deus Ex Machina Rich is going to pull, though he's too good of a writer to pull an obvious or implausible one. We also still don't know what the point of showing that long memory was about, possibly foreshadowing or something.

Vaarsuvius isn't going to survive this. In this strip, Belkar asks if he's going to cause the death of Miko, Miko's Horse, Roy, Vaarsuvius, or the Oracle. The Oracle answered "yes". Belkar later killed the Oracle directly, but before that he also indirectly caused the deaths of Roy and Miko(the horse was sent back to its home plane). He's going to indirectly cause Vaarsuvius' death here because of his preventing Minrah and Roy from healing V. No idea how this will effect V's contract with the archfiends - they may just deny taking him knowing he'll be raised so they can still have their "*yoink*" card to play.


Another possibility: Elan dies(as well), and goes to Chaotic Good afterlife, and it's been established that the "afterlife" is the Outer Plane that matches their alignment(Roy went to the LG plane when he died). Julio Scoundrčl mentioned going to visit Arborea in his farewell letter, which is the CG plane. (Dead) Elan is going to meet (living) Julio in the afterlife. However, since Elan was guaranteed a happy ending by the Oracle, he'll almost certainly be raised.

Hey, does anyone know if Domination allows another will save, like, if, say, Durkon harms the kid?

Comparing the crayon-drawn Tenrin here to the dead dwarf Hel grabs off her throne , they have the same beard, though the one Hel tosses has sideburns and hair.

That gas leak that killed 37 dwarves, including the ones Sigdi had raised? That was likely caused by Tenrin's collapsing of the tunnel. She probably felt like it was her fault they died without honor.

Interesting that he calls them all Uncle/Aunt, must know they're not related, and never questioned why they were Uncles/Aunts (or was never told why)

Why would he question that? It is not that uncommon to call very close friends of your parents "uncle" or " aunt"
