Welcome, Mutants and Traitors, Commies and Secret Society members. Welcome, to my Paranoida RPG. First, a warning.

I have very little experience with RPG's in general.

Feel free to tell me if I suck. I will agree with you 99% of the time.

Now with that out of the way, lets get to the rest of it. I am looking for 4-8 players for a weekly or bi weekly meeting of 1-3 hours in length to play PARANOIA. (If you have not figured out this by now play is forbidden :P) Now, the system will be paranoia live, unless someone can make a better argument for a new one. I am still doing the planning, calibrating black hole launchers, and rectiliating laser pistols. The book will be Paranoia XP, as if that means anything. Mu ha ha ha ha. Feel free to reserve spots, and remember, the computer is your friend! More details will be available SOON.

Edit:Free Version of the paranoia XP rulebook available here. READ IT. NOT DOING SO IS TRAITOROUS. DO NOT READ THE GM SECTION. Even if you don't want to play, read it, its hilarious.

Am not really sure if this should belong to Other Games... I think it should go to Forum Games and Roleplaying, or at least to the let's play subforum.

I will reserve a spot, even if this should be in forum games.

To expand on that, you can move your own thread with the link at the bottom of the page, looks like this:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
(Sorry if you already know that, but a few people don't, so I figured I'd post it.)

I'd be interested (I've always wanted to try Paranoia, it looks so...awesome), but I don't think I have the time right now (while, in the near future), so good luck!

I've always been very hesitant about this game, considering how it's geared to encourage fuckery and punish players for playing right.  Then again I enjoyed SS13 many times...  I also feel I need to try everything twice - in case I got it wrong the first time.

So I'll be in.

Well, the reason I put it here was because I saw a pathfinder RPG discussion, so I assumed this was the right place. But I will move it if needed.

There's a paranoia thread in here way way down.  It's not really a forum game, either.

I'd be interested.

Yeah, in my opinion it could really belong in either forum (or Play With Your Buddies) just fine. Just a matter of preference.

So, is this going to be prefab characters, or are we allowed to make our own?

Text using the JParanoia. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to give them.

Depends on the scenario. For the first one, you will be bringing your own characters.

On that note, more details! Also, we have 5 people out of the max of 8. Good! Friend computer is pleased by your dedication! Now, for the first scenario, you can make your own characters. Consult the character creation bit in the rulebook linked in the OP. IGNORE THE FOLLOWING WHILE CREATING YOUR CHARACTERS:Perversity points, Tics, and Power and Access. I will not be using these systems. The game mode will be classic. Roll according to that. DO not post chars in this thread, do not read the GM section.
