The cardiologists ate all the eggs and bacon.

Whenever people talk about "eggs and bacon", I can't really imagine eating just that. It needs a few other things like sausages or hash browns or fried bread. If I was seeking to put on a lot of weight I would also add black pudding, fruit pudding/dumpling, square sausage and potato scone, sometimes mushrooms and baked beans as well.

Here is a visual aid, though it is more English in its absence of puddings and presence of tomatoes: Heart attack.

Oh god.

The bean juice is touching the albumen.

The bean juice is touching everything. The beans do not belong there. They need their own dish.

The beans taste good though. They go with the sausage and, yes, the albumen.

This is a better aid for what I would eat if I was ravenous and did not fear heart attacks. I don't like the mushrooms cooked like that though and the egg is too soft, plus there's two of them. Who eats two soft-fried eggs? That's just insane.

Those beans just can't keep to themselves.

I can only draw that mixing bean juice with other breakfast items is a cultural tradition. There is no other logical explanation for it.

I usually pour a very small amount of milk into the bowl and stir the cereal around so every piece gets a thin milk coating and there isn't any milk left sitting around to soggy it up. I just had a bowl of oat squares though, and those need to soak for a bit before they're really good.

We also eat beans with sausage rolls, which are a kind of pastry. The pastry gets all soggy with bean juice.

It seems there may, then, be a cultural basis for Scots and/or Brits liking soggy food, including cereal.

Though among our chefs, the greatest sin is a soggy bottomed tart or pie.

Why in hell are y'all calling it bean juice? It's the tomato sauce that baked beans come in, surely!

We are unsure about the tomato content of the sauce. We find it to be dubious.
