Sounds totally awesome, also sounds like people would max out elimination and not even play stealthily and ruin it for everyone else.
If you could prevent that, it'd be awesome.
They wouldn't actually be specialisations that you pick. Those are just categories I set up to help me think of skills. Everyone on the team could take some skill in elimination (which isn't just killing but also knocking people out), but it's still perfectly viable if you don't take any at all, since these missions would all be possible in any of these three basic methods that I'll be keeping in mind while imagining them.
---
S/K Tech (Submit/Kill, a barehanded martial art designed to subdue opponents at close-range with any degree of intent while maintaining maximum efficiency)
Improvised Weps (hitting someone over the head with an alloy chair)
Gun Weps (using a handgun that fires sleep darts)
Energy Weps (operating a microwave rifle)
Launcher Weps (firing a pneumatic spear gun)
Thrown Weps (knowing how to activate and being able to lob the laser grenade a far distance)
Deployed Weps (setting up the beam mortar and remembering how to zero the sights)
Move Tech (your ability to do things on the move without slowing down, including striking people in your way or using weapons or other items without fumbling them)
Running (running to get somewhere or away from something; trying to reach the bunker before the tankbot runs you over would be a running check, if you were trying to dive out of the way it would instead be an acro check)
Sneaking (moving without being seen; crossing an open field at night with spotlights trained on it would be a sneaking check)
Acrobatics (climbing, and doing complicated or precise movements with your whole body; diving through a moving autocar's window into the driver's seat would be an acro check)
Air (adopting and maintaining a false demeanor; walking through the security checkpoint disguised as the Colonel, you'd need to study his manner before sitting down to dinner with people who know him)
Shadowing (following or getting very close to someone without them noticing; following the mark in your autocar to his apartment)
Lifting (taking things in plain sight without being noticed; stealing the head researcher's ID card, if you had no cause to be close to him you'd need to make a shadowing check first)
Blah blah blah came up with all that stuff in a couple minutes.
