Weaknesses: Slowly dissipate when in the light.
Special: As they lose health, they begin to fade from the material plain, becoming harder to hit, but dealing less damage.

You lay against the wall of the carriage you've found yourself in, nursing a wound on your left forearm. The carriage was a public one, though you were alone in your ride. The wound had come from a fight with a lone wolf. He'd managed to get a scratch on you before he was slain. On your way you had hailed the carriage. Seeing your wound, he'd decided to take you to the nearest town for free. Just as well, given that was your destination. You reminisce about days past, and how you began this journey. You'd decided to take on a life of demon hunting, looking to strike down them and their summoners. You took on a few odd jobs, killing an imp or two. A lemure, at one point. It was at that point that you heard rumors of a "Corsch Mesnell", a powerful warlock. You decided to remove him from this land. In the meanwhile, you'll likely need to become a bit more powerful, as well as find out exactly where he dwells. Suddenly, the cart comes to a stop. Looking through a hole in the planks, you see a hooded figure. Just barely, you can see the sheath of a sword peeking out of the cloak. He hands the carriage driver a couple gold pieces, and begins to climb in.

You're Kate Barch, a dancer by trade. You're dressed in one of your finest dresses; a long, blood red gown. The hooded man enters the carriage and sits.

Talk to the hooded man.

You begin speaking with the hooded man. He tells you his name is Rivil, and he tells you that he came in search for work. You easily tell he's lying, however. The carriage begins to pick up speed, and you're now trotting through the countryside at a good clip.

Entertain the man's lie, whilst manoeuvring our foot to be close enough to kick the guy's delicate bits.

You entertain his lie, asking what kind of work, who he was working for, all the while getting ready to strike him in his more tender regions. You deliver a swift kick, and he doubles over, choking out "A prince doesn't deserve this" before passing out from the pain. Ahead, the town pulls into view.

Wait for the carriage to stop and thank the driver for the ride. Then walk into the town.

I never actually said kick him.  Just position our foot.

You wait for a while for the carriage to reach the town, in which the man doesn't wake up. Eventually, the cart comes to a halt and you step out. The driver begins to ask you what happened to the hooded man, since he was supposed to get off here, but you think it best to just keep walking. Inside of the town, you notice that it's not very busy. Judging by the amount of housing availible, you'd say 150 people lived here, tops. As you walk around a bit more, you notice what would likely be where all the people are at: A local pub, labeled "The Burning Witch". How wonderfully prophetic.
