It was a cave in the mountains, several levels deep.  The leader in the human capital sent me there.

The key was the spear throw; if I hadn't wounded it so badly right away, I'd have been in trouble.  I barely avoided the first breath attack because I was at the very edge of its range.  If it had been conscious and able to breathe again when I got closer, things would have been bad.

Lesno Muffindances would have become Lesno Muffinbaked.

Missile weapons may be a bit overpowered; I'm only a Dabbling Thrower, but I've been killing things in one hit, in addition to crippling a dragon.

I was disappointed the dragon didn't leave a huge pile of treasure.  Maybe I didn't explore deep enough into the cave system.

Am I misreading that, or did you somehow throw a single spear through both the dragon's eyes at once?

Attacks to the head seem to be a bit buggy, which makes missile weapons even more deadly.

Incidentally, the level after "Extremely Strong" is "Mighty".

Bug report:

When your adventurer is tough enough, higher level townsfolk (elite bowmen, swordsmasters, etc) will join you.  Unfortunately, this also applies to the nobles who give you quests.  So now, the guy who gave me the quest to kill some elite bowman is tagging along to do it himself.

A dragon's eyes might line up with its brain...  and nose...  and possibly throat...  Perhaps this is the principle obstacle to drawing tiles.

Creature hoards is one of them things to be done.  Treasure is at ruins/kobs/gobs/old forts for now.

No matter how fun it might be - strangling a dragon is way too ridiculous. Well, maybe it was a dragon whelp.

To be fair, there's no way I could have strangled it if I hadn't knocked it out cold first.

I was a little disappointed that I was able to strangle a hydra to death.  Things like hydra and ettins should be almost impossible to strangle because of their multiple heads/necks.

What happens if you destroy one of a multi-headed creature's heads?  Maybe strangling should just kill one of their heads and leave it at that.

The two headed creatures are strange.  They need to breath through both of their heads, but they only need one of them to think.  This is because the respiratory system is not modelled in the same amount of detail as the nervous system.  It's just something that needs to be done at some point.  Circulatory could use some work too.  Digestive isn't even implemented.

No, strangling would work, I think.  It'd be the cutting that makes them split, right?  Strangling them wouldn't let them recover.  It'd be like fighting Grendel or something.
