KEO-Messages for the future!
« on: August 04, 2013, 06:25:16 am »

http://www.keo.org/uk/pages/message.php

Every person living on Earth, small, weak, powerful or rich is provided with 4 pages of liberty and equality to pen down his message destined for his faraway great grandchildren.
All the messages received, without undergoing any censorship, will be embarked aboard KEO.
What reflections, what revelations
do your future great grandchildren evoke in you?
What would you wish to tell them about your life, your expectations, your doubts, your desires, your values, your emotions, your dreams?

Basically, launch messages into space to be seen by the future. Think it deserves it's own thread. Post what you're going to send.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Call me a sceptic, but the questionable sponsorship(claims to be sponsored by ESA, UNESCO, others. No links, or anything to confirm that), little to no technical details, decade behind launch date shedual, and the realistical implications of the situation at hand, I doubt whether they'll be able to hit the earth, let alone have any useable data left.

This is a scam for farming email addresses. Absolutely no other reason they'd require you to feed them your friends' emails.
