>investigate booth

When you approach the booth, the men inside stop talking.

You attempt to make conversation with the men (CHR check: FAILED) but they only look at you as if you shot a puppy. You do not have the silver tongue to speak with these men, it seems.

>Request "The Hero of the Sun"

"Pardon, Monsieur, but I have no knowledge of that song. If you should find a songbook, however, I would pay you for ze opportunity to expand my... Lexique."

:Inventory:>Missive from a Priest

You read the tattered scroll.

You wonder...

Bandits like to hide in ruins. Could these be the bandits that stole the Innkeepers booze?

>Proceed to Ruins

You decide that you may as well scout out those ruins, but you check by the marketplace first.

There's no sign of Miri at the marketplace. Perhaps you should whittle away the time by completing a quest?

You proceed to the ruins.

The ruins are a few hours out of town, embedded in the dark, thick woodlands surrounding Tyrgleam. Rather than the crumbling stone you expected, you're surprised to find the pillars made of a corrugated metal, tarnished by time and nature to a deep green, almost like copper. You wipe a bit off with your sleeve, however, and the metal gleams like polished steel.

This is an ancient ruin alright.

There are several corpses littering the exterior to the ruin, but the skulls have all been smashed, so you don't even bother trying to raise them. Instead, you chant a small spell and set a magical beacon that will tell you if anyone enters the ruin.

The entrance is clear to see, covered with dead vines and miscellaneous foliage. It's hard to see deeper within...
