>Enter

The cave quickly opens into a damp room, build of the same solid metal as outside. The metal is overgrown with moss and lichen and is cracking in places, but from your knowledge of the strength of that substance, you feel safe to say that this place is less likely to collapse on you than the palace of the Holy Areonetian Emperor himself.

In between lichen-filled cracks, tiny lights flicker like fireflies. You can only assume they're magical in nature, though they lack the same tingle that magic usually does... The ancients were capable of magics on level with the gods, so perhaps the lights are divine in nature?

There's evidence of habitation, but the room as it is now is empty, save for a few bottles of ale and fallen slabs of Ancient Steel.

There is a doorway to the North. There is a doorway to the South. The entrance lies behind you, to the East.

There is a bank of the odd lights to the West. With your study of magic, your mind may be strong enough to decipher the ancient lettering...

>Lights

You examine the bank of odd lights.

The bank is cold and sharply designed, almost dwarven in it's complexity, but elven in it's simplicity at the same time. Lights flicker in almost-incomprehensible patterns... Almost.

You cannot read the words, displayed in varying lights of blue and green and yellow, and some in red, but upon your touch they vanish, replaced by a scrying of what must be other portions of the ruin.

The room you are viewing is empty of any semblance of life, even the electric golems the Ancients crafted to protect their cities. More unreadable words appear below the scrying...

The screen changes to a well-lit room full of empty shelves. There are two Bandits there.

Options translated:

Entry (where we are I think)
Armory (we are looking at this)
Barracks [iis] (no idea what the IIS means)
Medical (infirmary?)
Chow (probably a cafeteria)
Engage security locks (probably should activate before we activate toxin if we do activate it.)
Toxin (probably a form of !FUN!)
Call security (electric golums?)

Activate barracks.

You have successfully extrapolated the ancient script.

>BARRACKS

The Barracks is empty, save for a deactivated Electric Golem. The occasional spark suggests the golem was disabled recently.

>Call Security

You call security.
You fucked up.
A loud klaxon blares through the facility, and the exit door clangs shut with a ring of metal. The blast door is two feet thick and ancient metal; there's no going through that.
YOU FUCKED UP.
The remaining doors have opened, but the halls are filled by the distinct ting of metal on metal - Electric golems, by the dozen it sounds, rush to your position.
YOU FUCKED UP!
Oh, crap.
