Just remembered a few:

Apparently Ys is supposed to have a pretty rockin' soundtrack.
Also: Brutal Legend.  It's like 100 heavy metal songs.  How can you go wrong?

I'm actually quite interested in videogame soundtracks and pinning down a definite favorite is kinda hard for me, but I do have a recent videogame soundtrack I'm quite fond of.

The Far Cry 3 soundtrack.

I generally like the atmosphere that comes with the Far Cry series, even if Far Cry 2 wasn't exactly all it could have been, and this is best expressed in the soundtracks. I like Far Cry 3's soundtrack because it mixes what would be considered appropriate music (Specifically the Main Theme, which is both spectacularly beautiful, slightly sad, and eerie as all hell, which suits the game) with electronica and dubstep. It works better then you'd think, because it puts into contrast the many elements of Far Cry 3: the invading force of pirates and their drug-induced insanity is represented by trippy dubstep, the generally friendly but possibly possessing ulterior motives Rakyat is represented by tribal drums and singing, and the potentially supernatural and corrupting nature of the Rook Islands is represented by twisting the music of the game into dark reflections of itself. Of course, I haven't played the game fully so I can't match everything to everything. However, I do like how the soundtrack reflects the game's themes.

Best moment of the game is when you go to burn the drug fields and Skrillex starts blasting so loudly that you can hardly hear the enemies. I appreciated the soundtrack, whether or not I thought it was good.

Another one for Hotline Miami. I'd had a lukewarm interest in electronic house (that's a thing, right?) before then, but now it's basically all I listen to while playing vidyagames. Hotline Miami's music in particular seems to go well with anything. Some of the tracks got a bit repetitive though, I think only two survived onto my main list.

I think it's the only game where I didn't mute its music in place of my own playlists in recent memory.

Wow, so many people here play action and war games... I did see one person mention Machinarium, but beating that by a long shot for me is Botanicula. You can listen to the whole album for free on their web site, but I paid for it anyway to download to my phone. It's my happy music (and happens to be a band from nearby where I live).

Tales of Maj"Eyal ( ToME4 )  has some very good pieces of soundtrack, most musics are coming from some of the Celestial Aeon Project free albums

After replaying Bioshock: Infinite, I went exploring the series' soundtracks. They are different, and a lot of fun.

I also have never considered Dark Souls' soundtrack. The game itself has fantastic music, I must get my hands on it.

A few soundtracks that have stuck with me longer than the game itself:
The original Halo, though they're all pretty much the same. Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger are probably my top-2. If I included individual tracks I'd be up all night putting out kickass theme tunes but those three have entertained me the most as albums, both as remixes and in original form.
