Well, I got the game and played it for all of 45 min before I had to stop. Why? My goddamn PS3 controller finally gave up the ghost. Right after I finally had a game that made me use the damn thing as something more than a PC gamepad.  :'(

So, is the game everything San Andreas was and more like I heard it was going to be?
After the disappointment with GTA IV, I'm skeptical as to if I want to get V.

I was kinda on the fence about purchasing this. But from what I'm reading (especially the hemmingjay seal of approval) gonna scoop up some old games to trade in at eb and grab this tonight.

Oh god no man, don't do that. Go spend $60 straight cash and hawk the games on Ebay (Or insert preferred online sale site here), EB/Gamestop (Its the same company) will absolutely FUCK you on resale value.

San Andreas was one of the games that shaped my childhood.
If this is anything like it, I'll get it once it's released on PC.

that's like half a femtohitler

So I've been at it for nearly a day straight. It's pretty damn fun. The world is huge but still has the little touches that make it so incredibly realistic. There are plenty of things to do if you don't want to advance the story arc, or if you're bored with one character you can switch to another and see what they're up to (for example, I switched to Trevor today and found him waking up in a dumpster). You can customize nearly everything I've found as well. The game runs smoothly, and even though I'm a huge fan of the PC I think I have to confess to enjoying it more with the xbox as you don't experience as much of the lag as GTAIV had. Perhaps those will be cleared up in the PC Port.

That there's probably, at the very least, .ini values you can over write the console setting with.

Well given that 90% of all PC users will pirate GTA5, they really shouldn't port it. (INSIDER JOKE!)
