Robert smiles reassuringly over his shoulder as he looks around.

" Sure don't worry hunni once we find the med station in this place it should have a few beds in it, we can move them to the top floor with some supplies before tonight so we have somewhere safer and more comfortable to sleep.

Don't worry your pretty little head us young men have plenty of energy.

...He's smiling. Sincerely.

"Well..thanks." Rhea said in response, returning the gesture, "Though we'd have to aim for basic needs first. Emergency blankets, any sorts of lighting apparatuses, and even materials we could use would be good enough."

Hmm..

"Fancy the thought: solar powered devices. That's one thing I'd love to see."

Looking slightly confused for a minute Robert shrugs and walks past to look around the other side of the room squeezing Rhea's hand reassuringly on the way past.

" Any time hunni, can't have probably the only pretty girl for miles around getting hurt. Then I'd be stuck with those 2 and they ain't much to look at if you catch my drift. "

Laughing to himself then he continued looking around.

Rhea gave him a curious expression.

"I'm unsure about you, but I look more into the personality of the people instead of their..err, looks. Anyway, yes. Supplies, and any storage devices. Preferably something we can improvise as a pack."

Shaking his head in amusement Robert chuckled.

" Ok so you don't get my drift, what I meant was I'm not attracted boys and being stuck with only men all day every day isn't my idea of a good time. "

((*knucklecrack*))

Sarah and Rhea get the idea to check reception for supplies, but the only thing left inside the desk were empty bottles. Nothing else seems to hold anything of value in Reception. ((Four of the same item take one slot in a pack, so one person can carry all the bottles or you can all have one.)) For the moment, Rhea takes them all and stores them.

Robert helps Rhea step down from the table, and keeps her off her foot while going ahead to the doors in Reception.
"Huh. Two doors. One's half open, which is a good sign... We'll check that other room later." Robert muses to himself.

The lights still manage to persist throughout the complex, at least, as far into a small room seemingly used for security checks. The window allows you to see into the other room- devoid of life, living or undead, and containing some kind of locker.

In the room you've entered, there dosen't seem to be anything of value, so you continue guiding Rhea along, other members in tow.

You enter a main hallway with many doors- four in a line to your right, and one at the very end of the hall to the left. Again, there's no infected, no dead, no anything. Oleg steps forward and picks up a small box, before allowing Robert to take the lead again. "Toolkit of some kind. Says "Security" on side. Probably useful in some way."

Robert sees the sign marked with a stairs symbol, and begins to half-carry Rhea to it.

"We'll loot the place later. First, we should get a vantage point, make sure no infected followed us, and find some sort of medical bay. I don't see anything that screams "medical ward" on this floor, so..."

The party has reached F2. Oleg has a Toolkit.

The players enter a long room, with stairs on either end. The door is closest to the pair of stairs you didn't come from. Rhea takes a breath before continuing, the natural painkillers slowly wearing down.

Sarah picks up what looks to be clean towels from some kind of bin. Sarah has obtained Cloth x2.

The adventuring party continues, entering a large area with broken furniture and electronics strewn about. Many large glass windows look out and give you an OK vantage point to the hydroelectric dam entrance.

Oleg spots a utility knife and picks it up. It looks like it would be more useful to open boxes than open flesh wounds, but he takes it anyway.

The party continues around, finding a second "observation" area. It offers another vantage point, but it isn't any better or worse than the first. The slow trek through the building has resulted in a few small odds and ends, but there seems to be a "first aid" sign on the next door. Rhea stops, and sits in one of the nearby chairs that isn't completely broken. In the chair next to her, she spots a large box that looks to be in good condition.

"What's this...?"

Rhea opens it slowly, while the others look outside, surveying the area.

"H-hey! It... Well, it WAS a rifle. This box still has the scope, and what looks like a fancy laser pointer, and a big metal tube!"

Robert looks at the box.

"Hmm. Wish we had that rifle, but nonetheless, nice find sweetie."

"It looks like this toolkit could let us attach things like that sight to our guns. It might not work more than a few times, though." Oleg says.

"Yeah, I suggest not using that sight. Looks like a scope built for a hunting rifle, and none of us are going to be taking potshots at that range yet. The silencer isn't bad, and the laser might help us aim." Robert offers his insight.

Rhea begins to say something, but stops. Sounds are coming from what looks to be a general-purpose security room- the prospected medkit area- and they sound inhuman. Oleg is quick to comment.

"Can't tell what it is, exactly, but... whatever it is had to be here for a while. Robert, you get that shotgun ready."

---
Oleg, Rhea, Susan, and Robert are in the North Observation room of the Hydroelecrtic Dam, F2.
Exits are South (Unknown) and East (Observation East).
The room has been looted.

It is Daytime, Hour 3. There have been no attacks today. You cannot see any infected converging on your location from your vantage point(s). There is an infected nearby!

Rhea has a sprained left ankle, treated. It will take 5-7 days to heal fully. She will be able to walk in 4-6 days.
Rhea is in mild pain.

((If I may offer a hint, you may want to keep a very simple map of whats going on because I can't (all my master maps are paper) but I can tell you where you haven't explored and let you do it automatically on turns.

You've got 4 unknown doors that you know about on F1, 1 right next to you, and a stairwell up to F3 on this floor.

Clip the laser onto my shotgun then move towards the door we can hear noises from after carefully leaning Rhea against a wall, put the scope into my pack in it's container.
Kick the door open then look inside, if it's only 1 zombie then use my shotgun as a blunt object and smash it's head in, if it's more then 1 shoot them in the head.

(( I'm guessing the laser gives a bonus to accuracy? ))

"You stay here hunni and Sarah you come with me and watch my back, Oleg keep an eye out while we deal with this if we have to fire it might draw attention."

((I can't actually tell you, but since sights are the only thing that needs a toolkit, I can let you put it on. You have to put it on where a sight would go normally, however, as that's the only rail you have. I'll go ahead and say that it really won't help that much on a shotgun.))

(( How so? Laser sights in games always get mounted on the side of shotguns and tend to make it quicker to aim since you don't need to look down a sight first. ))

((Each gun in this game has different areas that modifications can be attached- the Mossberg has no side or under-barrel rails, and the laser sight isn't super helpful on a pump-action shotgun. It'll help a little, but...))

(( Well since I'm gonna be doing most of the fighting it's still better for me to use it, unless somebody else would prefer to take it?

Otherwise I'll put it onto something else that it's more useful for later.

I play COD to much I guess. ))

((It would be the most useful right now on the OTs-33 Pernach, based on the way it works, but it's useful on any weapon you have currently. There are certain guns it would be completely useless on.))

Rhea kept herself comfy in the chair, wishing she had at least a pencil and/or paper to make some notes.

A notebook was the best thing she wished for the moment. As well as some piping hot soup and a teddy bear but that could wait.

"Take care then, however I'd like you not to use the attachments just yet--as far as I know, this place is narrow, and you won't need a laser scope for a gun like that," she said, seeing Robert's inclinations with the recent find, "But judging by the integrity of these walls, noise won't be much of annoyance. Just keep anything that would give our location away to a minimum, we want to stay safe."

(( How so? Laser sights in games always get mounted on the side of shotguns and tend to make it quicker to aim since you don't need to look down a sight first. ))
((In short: I'm against using that for this type of scenario. The laser sight utilized infrared, and very vital for situations involving distance and contrast of light. Please don't. And you still need to aim :P))

"On the plus side, I could try to improvise a flammable explosive with alcohol and these bandages and bottles--a note, however since we've scavenged these bottles without any specific label," Alcohol bottles. Rubbing alcohol, 70% isopropyl or ethyl alcohol. And the covering is torn. "I'll try doing such while waiting. Take care, you three."

And now I'll be left alone. Nothing bad with that.

Keep ready, and prepare my firearm in one hand, safety on until any threat becomes apparent. Observe, examine.

(( Your not being left alone hopefully, I'm hoping the other guy will stay nearby to you to keep an eye out. ))

"If you say so, it has it's uses with a shotgun especially in narrow places but I'm a good enough shot without it. But it might be better to keep those supplies for now we might need them for something.

Besides you know what you get when you set a zombie on fire? A flaming zombies that burns you while it's eating you.
