1a) Yes, 1b) Usually but not always. A unit can't cut support to a unit attacking it.
2) Yes, land units can enter them. No, both land units and fleets can't be in the same province at once. Both armies and fleets can attack costal provinces freely (although they can't attack ocean and inland provinces respectively).

I would recommend reading the offical rules, not just the abbriviated rules on webiplomacy.

Also, turns out I can do weekends!

You know, a more usual course of action would be publicly posting the link and PMing the password. :D

Yeah, I feel like sneak-grabbing a slot, but I guess I'll just wait for another game.

I blieve the chance of someone from the outside stumbling across this thread and hijacking the spot within the next 24 hours slim

Strange. I'm logged into the diplomacy site, and at the linked page, but I can't see any option to join/input a password.
Any ideas why?

strange. On searching for it, I can see options to input a password/join other games, but not this one...

weird...clean cookies, try again?

upon following the link in the PM, there has to be a button to inoput a password to join.

Do you perhaps joined another game? you need 100 points to join, which you get upon creating an account anyway.

If you joined another game, you effectively locked yourself out of the game, in which case Sheb or bdthemag might grab your spot?
