Cadmus. When I experienced the trip to Spetses, from where we first get "the call" to go to it and all the way to its very end, I was like ... "Duuuuuuuude. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME?" .. which was completely awesome, mind you. From Spetses on out, it's one fun ride after one another.

Actually, as soon as Nia Kira blew up Argun's head off, we began the fun ride in the game. No more of that "oh, he's a boy! Looking for friendship! And adventure! IN SPACE!!!"

You know, I like to give Yuri some credit since he seems pretty smart at times...

but BOY does he like to visit the boarder of idiothero ville.

Actually, it was Kira who took Argun's head off.

Which made it all the cooler to me, personally. I expect Nia to do that. I expected Kira to need rescuing. Or to force him to surrender, once she had him at gunpoint.

And yes, Yuri's intelligence does vary wildly, mostly for what I suspect is (attempted) comedic effect.

And if Leo was such a genius, he'd have made an anti-ship module instead of an anti-air module.

In ANY other game, the bad guy would boast about his superiority, gloat, beat the good guy ... but never physically harm or maim him. Villains, they either outright kill a red shirt or they just brag about how awesome they are. In TVTropes, there's probably an article describing this sort of villain stupidity.

It only zanier from there. Pirates going to "gang-press" Ian in ways it's best left unsaid. Kira shooting Argun's head off. Slavery.

There's explicit references to alcohol and drugs, somewhat graphic violence (the instances you mentioned, plus Zakhar strangling Tatiana (still among my least favorite images  ) and other scenes further on), the aforementioned Ian scene, Glaucus and his obsession with female prisoners...this is PG-13 at the very least. Just doesn't have a whole lot of swearing other than Grus and the occasional "bastard".

And assuming that wasn't intentional, you can just tell me before it is "STOP IT NEONIVEK STOP FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD IN THIS WORLD JUST STOP!" it tends to go much better for both parties.

I'm tempted to make a zombie-Nia icon out of that guy's face, but I agree that the joke has passed peak amusement value and is in rapid decline now.

Changing the subject, I had forgotten all about Spetses. Then I saw the name Cadmus and started to remember that I really hated that guy.
