BFEL, I don't see your species as comedic relief at all. Your character has some great strengths and great weaknesses, as do we all. The -2 when alone is because you description of the race makes them very highly social creatures with no social space. Therefore, they are much more comfortable when in groups. I am reminded of how rodents nest, all up in a pile for warmth. Also, on the Station, there are not likely to be too many situations in which your character needs to be alone for extended times. None of you should take high negative scores as a defeat, but as an opportunity for roleplay. Incidentaly, 1BGii has a -3 to strength, because he is made up of bugs.
Xantalos' original character was essentially immortal, able to change at will, and able to take over any other being as he chose. Plus, as he transformed, he was able to produce powerful weapons, and he could absorb memories and mimic anything, and able to split into parts and reassemble at will. Tow of those talents alone (taking over other aliens, and memory absorption) push him into the realm of magic a little too much for the setting. The rest, I felt I would have had to modify the species beyond recognition for it t be playable.
The new species looks fine, though. I'll have it in the list soon, and we'll go!
