You were all out tilling the fields, when you came back everything was destroyed. The cattle were slaughtered, your dogs were shot, and all the women and children were hung. You kept your shooting irons in the shed, the only building that wasn't burnt to the ground. The tracks of the orc bandits who did this are still fresh, and they form a clear trail leading off to the east.

Greenstar [4] grabs a rake and a gun and heads east. He sees a small structure in the distance.
Chink [1] falls on a pitchfork and [Injury: 1] bleeds to death.
Cheesecake [3] makes dirt angels.
Xantolos [2] takes his clothes off. He's still wearing his gun belt.
Dansmithers [1] slips and lands on a rail spike. [Injury: 1] He bleeds out quickly.

EDIT: From here on out, its permadeath. When everyone dies we'll change setting. :)

GWG [2] draws a blank.
Xant [4] puts his clothes back on and catches up with Greenstar.
Cheesecake [3] places some rocks in the shape of a face on the impressions.
Greenstar and Xant arrive at the structure. Its a fort, with a large wooden gate. Greenstar knocks on the gate [4] and it swings open.
