Tanity had ended the quakes and these fools had seen it fit to give themselves power; where once the City was ruled by the Community, now it was ruled by so-called Priests. Tanzeret was outraged when he had heard of it; what gave them such right, to rule in the name of God? That the Priests had gone and punished him for her inaction had only made it worse; by what right? By what law or tenet? Tanity had solved the problem; why punish the Oracle? It had not been his moment, his Time.
It is Time.

"Ponder this younglings: God is all around us; he is the ground, the water, the plants and the sky. He is all around and everywhere; all is his flesh and blood. And yet, do we not wound him by tilling our fields or raising our homes? Do we not consume him daily? Do we not?"
"Think then this: to show total devotion to Tanity, would it not be most prudent to raze the City and die? Would it not be better to throw away our tools and stop hurting Great Tanity? "
"I can see that look in your eyes. No, allowing ourselves to die is stupidity. Tanity is all-generous: he has given his flesh and blood for our benefit. He allows us to live on his skin and do as we wish as long as we obey and protect him. He has given us Freedom."
"And the City has taken it away from us. Children, you know what the priests say: 'Tanity is Great! Tanity is all-powerful! Obedience and Faith!' "
"What they say is not wrong, it is true. And yet, they make the mistake of believing that they, as mortals, can INTERPRET the will of Tanity. Have they received his words? His voice? His touch? No, they have taken authority from the Earth through their own will; they see themselves as INTERPRETERS of God's will! I tell you, this is false! False! No mortal has the power to interpret-" Oh really? "-the will of Tanity! No mortal should bow to such corrupt men, such...tyrants."
"Thus, I ask you sons of Tanity, leave the City. No man is your lord; only God. We shall speak again on the morrow. "

For the past few months, Tanzeret had been busy, riling up the People. He had started with his students, nudging them towards rebellion, towards truth. Then he had moved to their parents, to guilds, to clans. He had worked slowly and quietly and for now the Priests had little idea as to what had happened to their precious society. Soon, perhaps, the Priests would be overthrown. Soon, perhaps, equality would be restored.
And if not, Tanzeret had other solutions.
------------
The first of the expeditions had been sent off by the cover of night and under heavy secrecy. Supplied with all that was necessary, these pilgrims would settle the earth, away from the corruptive gaze of the Priesthood. Even if Tanzeret's efforts failed, the People would still survive. And she knew they would prosper; he had made sure of it. At what cost, cripple?
At what cost indeed?
Regardless, these expeditions would not only the purest of the People but also have a technological edge: Ironsmithing. Yes, Tanzeret had bargained with the Spirit; the secrets of a powerful metal to aid the People in their farming. It would aid them in producing agricultural tools and structures...but even so, Tanzeret knew evil would come of such technology. He had done what she believed was best; Evil for Evil, Deed for Deed.
1 Minor Act: Incite discontent with the Priesthood; organise several bands from the populace to leave the City and populate the Earth in groups known as Septs. These Septs are nominally equal in nature and based off the value of independence and a lack of recognition for a higher authority besides the Divine.
1 Minor Act: Gift the technology of Ironsmithing to the Septs and any citizen of the Unified City who is discontented with the Priests.
