I don't really like that regiment, but that's mostly because it makes everyone in it a bit less special; what's the point in being a Heavy Gunner or Weapon Specialist if everyone has an Autocannon or Lascannon? Being good at melee(whether or not it's suicide) has no use if everyone's got a walker they can stomp shit with. The Operator gets to be slightly better than everyone else at driving it, but the squad vehicle isn't his responsibility because there is no squad vehicle. Tech-Priests are certainly nice, but only for maintenance purposes, which everyone can do anyway, more or less. And so on.

Plus, expensive as all hell. You almost cannot have it without having drawbacks. Imperial world, no specialist equipment or training doctrines, and cheap commander is basically what you gotta do. Bit exaggerated, but it's more or less that.

Yeah, true enough. I've sort of reconsidered the idea.

I'm not opposed to going with a very similar regiment as last time.
