I think plasma, for the added range, and the multimelta for heavy, for better anti tank.

I think the plasma should be the new preferred. For the added range. With either the man portable las cannon, or the multimelta for the anti tank role.

The Laser Cannon is considerably more powerful, but I proffer the Multi-Melta for versatility and a bigger ammo clip.

I guess. If we don't care about heavy armor as much, the Multilaser is much better, but the Multimelta has nice piercing.

What every you want, I have krak grenades if we really need em.

The Plasma Gun takes forever to reload (5 Full Actions), can explode in your face (really) and is less effective at cutting vehicles, bunkers and walls down than the Melta Gun.

As for the Heavy Weapon, I would say it is hard to make a mistake, since even a Heavy Flamer does it short range cover-clearing and room-burning task fairly well, the Autocannon can be used to destroy heavy infantry and light vehicles at a reasonable range and so on. I'd only advise against the ones that are fairly common, such as rocket launcher, heavy stubber and mortar.

Note: If our Favored Basic Weapon becomes the Plasma Gun, then the Multi-Melta would be our best choice at Favored Heavy.

If we give other people meltas, I'll take the Multi-Las. That way, I can train both the carbine and heavy weapon.

The Multi-Las is for spraying shots at non-heavy armor enemies. It's a big laser minigun.
