I think Hardened Fighters would be preferable. A better melee weapon is useful for a stealthy group. I also like our old idea and support it.

I'll say that the planet doesn't necessarily have to be destroyed, just either corrupted or captured to the point that it cannot be retaken easily, and seeing it in Imperial hands again is unlikely.

No, but we do have to be from very close by, and the Tau have a tiny-as-fuck Empire. Hardly even deserves the capital E, really.

So we remove skirmish and replace it with hardened fighters.

Do we want a mono knife? Or should I make us a list of the best melee weapons?

But I just dont like falling into fairly common fights, IG vs Swarms of monsters they wont survive
or IG vs Deamons they wont survive.
Maybe Eldar? They were looking to destroy buried Necron Tech, and so they invaded our homeworld to destroy, we dont know this though,

You'll have to explain what Necron Tech is, but I'm all for a different enemy. The Tau sound interesting, if irritating to make work.

They are an ancient race of machines. They almost wiped out the eldar if I am not mistaken? So the eldar try to stop em!

Ok so we want rid of skirmisher and we want hardened fighter.

We have 2 options for melee. A standard sword or a mono knife. The sword does more damage but the knife has armor pen.
I'd take the knife, what about the rest of you?


A race of beings who made a deal with a god for immortality, he turned them into a slave army of machines. Basically, robot zombies including the coming back from the dead part, with highly advanced tech.
