Regiment wise it might be an idea for each of us to do a piece of our own based around our chosen class then piece it together afterwards.
Otherwise 1 person needs to make up a history for it.

Might be better to spend it on getting a couple of gun attachments. They're pretty cheap if they ain't mega rare but can have a good impact.

Or since it's 10, upgrade primary weapons to best quality to remove the risk of overheating/jamming entirely.

Also, we don't need that multi-melta, because heavies get one anyway, so we could put the points toward something else.

Perhaps we should get a forearm mount each, for strapping one of our weapons to?

The forearm mount isn't worth it this early, we can do it later.

Better to spend the money to enhance ourselves now to boost our initial survival odds, gun attachments and quality upgrades are probably our best bet.

I'm not sure that leftover regiment points can be used as regiment equipment points, so unless you can point me out to where it says you can do that don't count on having more equipment. And yes, unless I stated that a certain piece of equipment replaces something in your kit, that's what you get. In your case Alexandria, the Carapace armor replaces the Flak armor, but otherwise you get everything in the standard kit.
