Starbound has mechs in it.  Mechs are made of metal.  Metal is used to make buildings, which people can live in.  People are alive, and that means MECHS ARE ALIVE.  Clearly the secret unrevealed race in the game that the developers have never mentioned is mechs!

Dont be silly. You see, starbound has space travel, correct? Space travels means visiting other planets. Now look at this early screenshot of starbound:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Now let us focus at 4 key points:

First we have this completely peaceful and adorable looking egg spider looking thing. We could call them.. Eggheads. Know what else has been traditionally called eggheads through the ages? SCIENTISTS!

Then, there's these two. The first is a clearly native american girl brandishing a laser axe while the other is a man of spanic descent comming a horrible violent act and shoot the peaceful egghead science creature!

And then there's the planet being destroyed! You see the connection?? Look at the background.

It shows tentacles and mountains. GIANT TENTACLES and mountains! Not only they are towering over the mountains, they are dominating them! Taking control! Ravaging their innocence away in their noodly grip!

The only logical conclusion is that starbound, representing these things, is in fact subliminal message tool to stimulate us to attack or otherwise disable our scientists so we'll never be prepared for the eventual tentaculoid invasion who want to steal all of our sexy mountains and take them to their world while we are defenseless and thus causing the eventual destruction of our now mountainless earth!

Starbound's developers have avatars that resemble characters in the game... what we don't realize is that those are actual photographs! The devs ARE those characters, and they don't exist in real life! They're trying to promote their game project so they can get people to download copies of the data-world they live in and thus take over every computer on earth!

I hope they succeed.

and next your going to tell us, we are in the matrix.
In Starbound all the monsters are named Waffles, and you kill the monsters.  Therefore, the dev team wants us to burn down IHOP!
that must mean that they are working for the waffle house!

So Starbound has ingame music editor.
Editor uses ABC notation.
ABC is the start of alphabet.
What is alphabet used to ? To encode the message!
And obviously music controls emotions so it must be mind control message !
From who ? Star theme makes that obvious, Starbound is Alien Mind Control Scheme!

Starbound's developers have avatars that resemble characters in the game... what we don't realize is that those are actual photographs! The music system was an unplanned feature they supposedly added "for fun" and "on their own free time", which is obviously a lie - everybody hates their jobs and why would anyone work with them when they're off work? Rather they were forced to include it by the New World Order's shadow government agents and every time you play a note it will send subliminal messages and songs through your speakers that will brainwash you into a commie nazi. Also, part of the brainwashing is that the more you play, the more you will need to play notes for other people, and it will program you to go around servers to other innocent players and play songs for them, which will trigger the subliminal messages and start to brainwash the other people, creating a self-sustaining process where more and more players will be indoctrinated. In the end when there isn't enough free players left to convert the messages will change and force the commie zombies (combies) to seek out well populated public places and okay the game at as high volume as possible, infecting even more people.

Also the subliminal messages is played at such a low frequency that they will cause earthquakes and spontaneous formation of volcanoes everywhere, so the New World Order can make more money of their lava-proof rain-coat business, which they have a complete monopoly of.

Wake up sheeple!

(preedit: Dammit, kind I'd ninja'd by Antur. Do I need to make up a new one?

Novakids are like, made of stars, right? Stardust, as we all know, is what allows Peter Pan to fly and stay young. (For those who haven't read the awesome prequel, Stardust is a magical substance contained in meteors that has all sorts of uses, including mutating a bird into a fairy filled with the stuff...aka Tinker Bell). Since Peter Pan obviously plays such a large part in the game, at least one planet in the game is going to be based on the Peter Pan and the Starcatcher's story, with a mysterious island of natives, a pirate ship, and meteors falling from the sky at regular intervals, being the only way to unlock magic in the game.

(Also, thanks for running the giveaway! People may notice that I won one of the previous giveaways, but that...didn't pan out, so yeah. I don't own a copy of the game.)

Wait a minute... Starbound allows us to fly to other planets... On other planets we find strange environments, naturally. Now, Starbound is developed by Earthlings, correct? Stay with me here.  They have characters in the game that look like them, correct? In addition, us Earthlings do not have interstellar travel last time I checked...  Thus, logically, the planets that the dev team has showed us... ARE ACTUALLY EARTH!

Wait a minute...

Starbound's logo is the sun peeking out from behind a planet, small in size - Starbound believes that suns orbit planets! They're trying to brainwash us!

Hey I already confirmed that Starbound IS Halflife 3!

Also I was thinking of doing a chain conspiracy and link all the conspiracies to one large conspiracy... but wow is it going to be a lot of work.

So Starbound has space travel right? And they're are tons of different planets which are procedurally generated?

So it wants you to play Kerbal Space Program with hundreds of planet mods?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

in this picture you can see a repeating image of a bunch of rocks and lava, but it is actually a repeating image of stone henge from the future!

This means that the creators of starbound are British time travelers, witch means that there is a Dr. Who!
